Super bien situé, situé juste avant la riviÚre Parker ouvre à Plum Island Sound. Cette propriété n'est PAS sur Plum Island mais plutÎt adjacente à PI Sound, directement sur la riviÚre Parker. Il bute terres de réserve et a de l'eau et le sel étonnante vues des marais.

- 3 chambres - 6 couchages, 1. 5 salles de bains (voir plan d'Ă©tage en photos)
- Une courte promenade en bateau ou voiture pour Crane Beach et Sandy Point Plum Island et Newburyport
- La marée basse apporte avec elle une belle barre de sable en face de la maison.
- À l'intĂ©rieur, le chalet classique vient de recevoir une rĂ©novation complĂšte en 2013 qui dispose de nouvelles salles de bains et cuisine w / nouveaux appareils et comptoirs en granit.
- Barbecue, Linge de maison, Lave-linge / SĂšche-linge

Family with dog.

Ideally located for family get-away. Comfortable, and well stocked. Stairs are narrow but negotiable. Upstairs mattress is a bit soft but first floor mattresses very comfortable. Tastefully decorated. HVAC is more than adequate. Jonathan is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend. Really delightful stay

Idyllic Cottage in a Beautiful and Tranquil Community

In one word: "Exceptional". We stayed for the entire month of April. The home was immaculate and well cared for and had all the accoutrements we needed. The home is located on the Parker River in an absolutely lovely community. I couldn't get enough of the view of the river and the boaters that sailed by. It was so peaceful and tranquil and since we were there for a month, we took strolls through the neighborhood and actually got to know some of the neighbors. They are very nice people. Our host Jonathan is incredible. He wants his renters to have the best stay possible and provides all kinds of information about what to do in Newbury/Newburyport, where to eat, where to shop for necessities. He even helped me with a salon to get my hair cut. He was so nice that I actually think of him as a friend and I hope to return to that beautiful cottage again someday. You can't go wrong with a stay at this beautiful home.

Pure serenity and beauty

We absolutely love staying in this waterside oasis of tranquility and beauty. From early morning paddling and bird-watching to lunches on the screened porch and sunset grilling, every moment was perfect. Many thanks to Jonathan for a wonderful stay.

Waterside Gem

We had a terrific stay at this lovely home. It was extremely comfortable, clean and had the most beautiful & restful views. It was everything we expected. For us it was even more perfect being close to family and lifetime friends. We will treasure the memories of having my sister and college roommate pop by for cookout dinners, cocktails & sunny lunches along the river with views of the ocean in the distance.

Historical Newbury and then some

Wonderful historical family home on the Parker River. Well maintained. Great for fishing and boating, relaxing, great views and the wildlife. Landlord very responsive and pleasant. House is clean and well stocked. We could have stayed all summer!

The cottage is clean, the view is lovely and in November, the neighborhood was very quiet. A wonderful place to get away but be close to all that Newburyport and surrounding towns has to offer!

Lifeline during a relocation

While moving to Maine we needed an interim location to live with my 94 year old Dad while cleaning out our home. Our host was the most gracious and kind person helping to accommodate our needs. The home was lovely, clean, and inviting. The view from the front room was mesmerizing while having morning coffee. The neighborhood offered flat walking for Dad and the first floor master with half bath was just what he needed. The kitchen was stocked well with cooking tools. The dock was a great place to sit and stretch in the unusual warm weather in November. Truly the haven in our storm.

beautiful quiet comfortable getaway

We spent 2 weeks on Parker River and it was wonderful. Jonathan was a great host and very accommodating . The house is filled with nostalgia of a bygone era, quiet and comfortable while also updated with modern appliances. The front room that spans the width of the house captures the warmth of the sun with a beautiful view of the river. Daily walks on the quiet road leading to the house were a must. Tendercrop Farm which sells its own produce and more, (including some great stickers designed by their son!) and downtown Newburyport, for shopping and dining, are nearby. We definitely hope to return!

A piece of heaven

I rent my getaways for the view first and foremost. This place did not disappoint. Then for character and experience. The cottage has a lot of history behind it, situated right near the first landing place of the Pilgrims. The screened porch is a highlight, the beds comfy. They’ve thought of everything you’ll need in the kitchen. I can still picture the eagle that soared overhead on my last full day. I wish I’d rented for two weeks instead of one.

Rest, Relax & Renew!

This was the perfect spot to stay in Newbury, Massachusetts to relax and enjoy the views of Parker River. Stunning sunrises! There’s so much to see from the wall of windows facing the river! There is boating, kayaking, to birding. We have view of Ipswich! The cottage was stocked with everything we needed and then some. Jonathan couldn’t be any more accommodating or any nicer! It was very lovely stay, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to everything! It’s a great alternative to Plum Island which tends to get very crowded. This is a very special place! I am forever grateful to have experienced this wonderful place!

Great find on the Parker River

What a great week and find -a well appointed, comfortable and exceptionally maintained cottage on a beautiful, quiet spot on the Parker River. We enjoyed the sun and evening sunsets on the private dock, kayaking up and down the river and to the beach at low tide and surf fishing on Plum Island. Jonathan was very gracious and accommodating (as was his son!) which made are stay even more enjoyable.

Relaxing week on Parker River.

Booking, checking in and out was a breeze. Jonathan ensures a seamless process. Would highly recommend. Amazing views and plenty of amenities to keep us comfortable all week. The screened in porch ( new ) made relaxing by the river bug free. Overall fantastic experience. Thank you Jonathan!

Wonderful!

My husband and I just spent a week at this vacation home and our only problem was that a week wasn't nearly long enough. Jonathan is a terrific host, and the cottage is in a perfect location for a wide variety of activities, or no activity at all if you just need to unwind. It is equipped with comfortable furniture for reading or movie watching, and the kitchen has everything you could need if you enjoy cooking meals at "home." We loved being able to launch our kayaks from the dock, and enjoyed some beautiful sunsets from there as well. We are already thinking about our next vacation at Jonathan's on the Parker River!

Loved it!

Just finished two weeks at the cottage. We loved it! So quiet, but still close to Newburyport, restaurants, Plum Island etc. The Parker River is so pretty. We brought our kayaks and our boat which the dock accommodated nicely! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Jonathan, the owner, was so accommodating and easy to work with. We hope to be back next summer!
