Looking for the perfect family getaway? This charming lake house near Schroon Lake offers everything you need for a fun, relaxing, and stress-free vacation with the whole crew. With comfortable one-level living and a fully fenced backyard, it’s ideal for families with children of all ages and fur babies as well!

About the house:
Let this 3-bedroom, 2-bath abode be your home-away-from-home in the heart of the Adirondacks. Start your morning with a cup of coffee on the screened in front porch. Then unwind from a day at the beach or the mountains with a home cooked meal made in the fully equipped kitchen enjoyed around the custom wood table with seating for 10. Or fire up the grill and take your meal out on the deck. End your evenings with s’mores around the firepit, enjoyed in the privacy of a fully fenced in yard. The house can comfortably sleep 7 people: the master bedroom and guest room each have a queen bed, while the bunk room includes a twin bunk bed, as well as an additional twin bed. There is also a portable crib, pack’n’play and high chair available for those travelling with smaller kiddos!


About the area:
Just a 15 minute walk away, enjoy all Schroon has to offer with restaurants and shops in the town center. Should your adventures take you outside of Schroon, this central location is ideal for day trips to places such as Lake George (30 minutes), Bolton Landing (30 minutes), Ticonderoga (30 minutes), Saratoga Springs (1 hour), Lake Placid (1 hour), and more! Whether it’s sun or snow you’re looking for, the Adirondacks offer it all. In the summer, soak up the sun from the town’s public beach, located less than 1 mile away. Want to get out on the lake? The Schroon Lake Marina is conveniently located right across the street and offers a variety of kayak, paddleboard and boat rentals. In the winter, hit the slopes with Gore Mountain just a 30 minute drive away or enjoy the various local snowmobile trails, the closest of which is located at the end of our street. Spring and fall have a ton to offer as well with beautiful views, hiking trails, and a local golf course.
