We loved this property! It was exactly as advertised, clean, quiet, pet friendly, and perfect for our group of five and our pup. As stated in the description, it is convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. We definitely felt we were staying in a “home” as opposed to the typical run of the mill rental. To that point, we were so lucky to stay while the azaleas and various wildflowers were in bloom. You can feel the labor of love here, inside and out. This is a wonderful home to stay in and it’s in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

From the moment you walk into the property you feel like your home, all that was missing was the smell of home baked cookies just out of the oven. There are so many thoughtful touches, like a bottle of wine and Pelligrino on the dining table, ice cream in the freezer, the list goes on...oh and a lovely welcome note.Great space if you are traveling with a four legged friend, lovely neighbourhood to walk through.Maria, is super quick to respond and just lovely to engage with.Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

À propos de l’hôte

Hôte : Curtis Hince

Image de profil de l’hôte
A Charlottesville native, Maria grew up in this house until she went off to college to become a veterinarian. Some years, 3 states, one husband, 3 kids, oodles of pets, and a few jobs later, she's delighted to be back in the area to share Kenwood with others. Maria and Curtis hope you feel as happy and peaceful here as she did growing up.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

My old stomping grounds! Very little has changed in the Greenbrier neighborhood, even though Charlottesville has changed and grown a lot!! It's still a great place to take a walk or a run, and you might just see a few deer grazing in the front yard!!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our home is one of the very few available for stays in this neighborhood. We make sure our guests feel right at home by providing the basics ahead of time - snacks, coffee, tea, and other beverages. We live locally so there's no impersonal property management party to deal with if you need anything.
