Cette petite maison pittoresque se trouve dans une belle partie de Cypress Creek oĂč vous pourrez dĂ©guster un verre de vin sur le pont arriĂšre pendant que les cerfs se promĂšnent tranquillement.

La maison est joliment décorée avec des touches de designer, avec une cuisine gastronomique, des comptoirs en granit, du parquet en bois mesquite, une cheminée à bois en pierre, une grande chambre avec un lit king pillow top et une baignoire sur pattes. Cabin was perfect - great condition, clean, had everything we needed. Specifically we were seeking a property on its own. There are quite a few cabin groups out in this area and thought we had avoided that when booking this property. Will happily return with a group of friends or family, but this was not quite the private romantic getaway we had planned on.

Extremely easy to find, the location was amazing, if felt private even though there was 5 other cabins on the property. You could walk a short distance to shopping.

The house was exactly as described and it was perfect.We found that the Wimberley Cafe is wonderful.A couple suggestions:1) We reached out via the app three times without any response. Finally, the week of the vacation we received a response. Would have liked to have communication a little earlier.2) Directions for the television and internet were good but maybe some suggestions of things to do in Wimberley would be helpful. Such as recommended restaurants, hiking paths, bicycle paths, or anything other than the square.

Conveniently located house

We love this house because we can easily walk to town. The wifi password is incorrectly written in the checkin instructions and book at the house. The host was also not helpful with this and cell service was poor in the area. The house is also poorly stocked and skimpy on linens. Otherwise we had a great stay.

Bday Getaway

Beautiful location. Pictures are accurate of the home inside and out. We loved watching the deer and seeing all of the birds. Our particular cabin was not waterfront, but you had access to it.Our only suggestions are the following: the hot tub had significant dirt and debris floating in it, which limited are used to only once out of a 3 night stay. Second, was that they only left us one garbage bag which we filled up pretty much within a day and then had to go buy our own garbage bags to put in the garbage bin. A couple of extra bags would be nice especially if you are there fir mire than a day. The other thing that the homeowner should advise is the significant change in flooring from the entryway/family room to the bedroom. There is a 1/2-3/4 inch drop off. I did not notice the change in flooring when moving our things in to the master bedroom and toe picked that uneven area and it resulted in me falling and bruising my knees and elbow and hitting my head on the floor. One suggestion would be to put some bright tape on that so that other people do not have the same experience of tripping and falling that I did or noting that somewhere in the welcome/check in instructions. Other than that, we would highly recommend this property to others.

Great Location

The cabin was located close to the Wimberley Square and shopping and eating. It was in a group of cabins near Cypress Creek but not overlooking the creek as one of the pictures depicts. However, it was just a short walk to the creek. Very picturesque with most evenings being able to see multiple deer grazing in the yard. One night we saw a group of 8. The cabin was clean and very roomy for 2 people and was rustic but modern. We really enjoyed it!

Awesome and Close to Wimberly Square

We loved the Crosslamd House. There are other houses on the property yet it was private. It was a short walk to Wimberly Square. The kitchen was very nice and the house is very spacious.

So close to downtown but when you’re back at the cabin you’re pretty much secluded. The house was clean but we also paid for the use of the hot tub. That was not! Hot tub was included in the description but we would not use it. It was filthy.

The good, bad, and the ugly

The good: The cabin is very nice, clean, well appointed. It is set on a quiet and private area. The fixtures, tub, Jacuzzi, bedding, all very nice. The property is also very close to the downtown area, just one street passed the river. The bad: The cabin is listed as waterfront in three different locations. It happens to be one of the cabins farthest from the creek. Even listed under amenities, it says "waterfront". When we arrived and realized our cabin location, I called the property manager and told him, this cabin is supposed to be waterfront, and he said, no, it was described as creek access. He either is dishonest or does not know what he is talking about. Either way, no effort was made to correct the situation even though there was another cabin sitting on the water front unused for the weekend. I have screen shot three different areas from the ad that say "water front" or that the property is on the creek. This is very misleading, so buyer beware. The ugly: The check in process was an exercise in futility. Multiple check instructions was confusing and unnecessary. The WiFi password did not match the network. When asked for the correct password, property manager responded 8 hours later with, it is on the sheet of paper. We did get an apology that it wasn't working. later but no resolution. Bottom line, nice cabin, great location, property manager not helpful and does not truthfully represent property.

Respond and listen to your guests

The property was exactly what we were looking for during this trip to Wimberley. Cool days and chilly evenings... perfect for soaking in a hot tub which was the main criteria for choosing this property. When we arrived I checked the hot tub... not good! The unit is heavily worn. But, that's not the issue the hot tub was dirty, the water was very low and cloudy. So, I sent a note to the property manager and was told the water level and chemistry was just fine as it was serviced that day. I responded that the hot tub was dirty, they responded that it was just leaves. I said no this is not leaves... it's dirt. Absolutely no response. Wish I could post the pictures! The floors in the house were terrible. We wore socks the whole time and they were black from dirt. This was our 51st anniversary... we were hoping for more than we received.

Super Cute Wimberley Cabin

This precious cabin was a perfect getaway for my husband and I to celebrate my birthday! The location was really close to shopping and dining in Wimberley though it felt secluded.
