La Luna is set in the beautiful Texas Hill Country with amazing views and lots of privacy. This secluded cabin features an updated outdoor space with a bed swing and fire pit, private hot tub, beautiful décor and comfy beds! Located just 3.5 miles from downtown Wimberley, there's plenty to do. Whether it's playing in one of the local swimming holes, enjoying live music, visiting a local brewery or winery, or bringing home souvenirs from local shops, there is never a shortage of fun activities here! For a romantic evening, enjoy a fire, soak in the hot tub under the stars, or cuddle up on the bed swing with a glass of vino from a local winery!

Our stay here is exactly what we wanted. The weather was beautiful, the cabin was very comfortable and we totally enjoyed being outside on the swing and in the hot tub. It was so quiet and peaceful.

This was a gift for my son and his wife, they said it was an 11 out of 10. They were very happy except for the cardinal that every morning at 6:30 slammed into the window, haha But they are early risers so all was good

As soon as we arrived on site OH EM GEEEE! The house - so cute! The swing bed outside, and hot tub were our fav. There is a memory book guests could sign, and let others know where they visited and what restaurants were recommended with amazing food. I was really grateful for that because it sure did help with choosing out of so many places! My husband and I celebrated our second year of marriage here, the memories will always be cherished!

Red Bird Cabin (La Luna)

If you want cozy, romantic, laid-back, relaxing, scenic and secluded
 This is it!When you stay here you will completely understand how fitting the “red bird cabin” is!!!You will not regret this stay. There are so many different places to see and do and all are relatively close to the cabin.**Highly recommend!**

Lovely little cabin

Property was clean, accurate to listing, very private and I just loved it. The cardinal in the am is hilarious, i named him Roosevelt and scolded him and hed just fly into the trees and sing to me, I was enamoured. I'll be back for sure, well worth it!

We had a great stay. The location is quiet. The view is great! The hot tub— hot! The swing- fun! The cardinals pecking at the windows was entertaining.

Wonderful place. We would be pleased to recommend it to anyone.

We stayed Sunday through Thursday. Wonderful view ! Very quiet and very private. Everything worked in the cabin. Had some trouble with the TV, I’ve never used Roku before. Close to town and stores. Very good BBQ grill that we used three of the nights we were there. GO ! You will enjoy your stay. Keith & Sandra

Tranquil Seclusion

The location is wonderful; much more secluded, quiet, and private than other rentals we’ve stayed at in the area. Outstanding summer sunsets, and warm sunrises thru the bedroom window (or not, if you keep the blinds closed). We normally bring our fave chef’s knife, skillet, and spatula, but forgot this time. We were able to make do withour much fuss. It’s time for a little maintenance on a few things, such as the multiple broken bulbs on the outdoor lights, burned our bulbs inside, dead batteries, and two roof panels to the right of the front porch that have been blown loose from storms ;and make QUITE) the racket in the wind. We personally found The Cardinal quite amusing, but if you’re a light sleeper and want late mornings, he’ll wake you up. We found simply opening the blinds reduces the number of times he’d continue to attempt self-concussion whilst flying into the windows. Extremely comfortable mattress, in our opinion. Ample linens and paper towels and toilet paper, which is getting rarer these days in rentals. They provided TWO rolls each for both, and neither were cheap/thin ply. Refreshing! Haha. We enjoyed our stay, and though the hosts didn’t reply to any of my communication, they provided us all the info we needed for easy check in and cabin instructions.

Great Stay / Hot Tub not worth it

Nice stay in general. The hot tub is not conducive to sitting next to your loved one. It's almost like there are assigned seats where you can barely touch each other, or like you're in an SUV with a huge center console between the two of you. I'm just talking about the molded seats.

Nice Getaway.

This is place is about a 10 min-15 min drive to downtown/HEB depending on the traffic. This was our 4th Spring Break trip to Wimberly and it was more traffic/people then we've seen in the past. The cottage was nice with a relaxing bed swing out front. The hot tub has seen better days. The jets barley functioned and doesn't get to temp. It also took a half day to go from 98 to 103. This place would be best enjoyed if you can get your groceries and stay locked it. There's also a kamikaze red cardinal that will try to fly thru the window every morning around 645-7am. I will scare the $h*t out of you if your not expecting it. According to the guest log it's been happening for the last 10 months. It came everyday of our stay and tries multiple windows for about an hour. Needless to say we didn't get a chance to sleep in. If not for the bird and the hot tub I'd give it 5 stars.

Perfect getaway

If you want to feel "away from it all" but also only minutes from good restaurants, this is your cabin! The cabin had everything you want and lots of privacy.

So very restful

La Luna cabin was wonderfully secluded yet close to town to be able to get groceries easily, check out the shops, and go on nature trails. The cabin is cozy and just incredible!

Romantic Getaway

La Luna Cabin was just as advertised. Amazing views, wonderful amenities and oh so comfy bed! My wife and I truly enjoyed every minute of our time here and can’t wait to return.

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. I loved the small dirt road to get to the cabin. It was easy to find and the location was perfectly private. Saw some deer out front and the sweet red bird in the mornings.

Romantic weekend getaway

LaLuna is a perfect cabin for a romantic weekend getaway. Cozy with beautiful views just far enough away from town to feel rustic but not isolated. The amenities on property are great! Bed swing, horseshoes, games/books, kitchen, nice bathroom, hottub (we didnt use). Everything one couls want for a nice weekend away. Highlybrecommend tbis cottage. The views of the night sky are incredible.

Would definitely go back

The place is great with amazing views. There’s a cardinal that knocks on the windows in the mornings. I would definitely go back, took my girlfriend, and she loved the place.
