Historic Gettysburg Homestead for Large Groups

Blue Ribbon Homestead is a stately rental tucked among the hills of Gettysburg, PA. This is an ideal home for a large family getaway, and you'll love all the amenities it has to offer. On the main floor, there's a large kitchen stocked with the basics for cooking, and an expansive living room with plenty of seating. There's also a bedroom with a king-sized bed and a half bath on the main floor. On the second story, there are three bedrooms, two with queen-sized beds and one with a twin over full bunk bed and an attached bathroom. The one upstairs bathroom can only be accessed through the bunk room but the other full bath regular. In the basement, there's one bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Along the back of the house is an expansive sunroom overlooking a beautiful outdoor patio and fire pit space. You'll love the huge yard, and there are also ten acres of woods with maintained trails that are yours to explore. Bring your loved ones and enjoy campfires, hiking, basketball, cornhole, and board games while making life-long memories and connections.



IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

- Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

- Please be aware you will be charged 10% of the total trip at booking and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file, thirty days before check-in.

The house was exactly what we were hoping for for our Gettysburg weekend! Everything was very clean, well-kept, and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location was awesome — close to everything we wanted to do while still feeling relaxing and convenient. It ended up being the perfect home base for exploring Gettysburg and enjoying the weekend. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The only disappointment we had was with the weather—cold and rainy. So we were unable to fully appreciate the expansive beautiful property, patio and fire pit. Everything else was perfect for our large group. Plenty of room to spread out, have privacy, but also welcomes group gathering! We loved it! Minutes from Gettysburg with a scenic gorgeous drive!

Great home… clean and comfortable. Stocked Coffee and Tea bar… what a gift this was for us! It’s these details… that raises our stay up to a higher level. Also, enjoyed fire pit. Full bathroom upstairs very nice. Will return… as our family lives in Gettysburg. Thank you.

This is a beautiful property in a beautiful rural location. The house itself is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen well-appointed and easy to work in, and the main living rom was big enough for a large group with room for children to play.The back yard was great for young children to play in and the patio was perfect for adults to relax and chat.Three of the bedrooms and both full baths are upstairs in the older part of the house. This section was built before modern building codes (early 20th century?) and so the stairs are narrow and can be a bit tricky. If you have difficulty going up and down stairs this could be a problem. So if stairs aren't a problem for you, check out the Blue Ribbon Homestead. You'll enjoy your stay.

The house was a peek back in time, but with a very modern feel in the amenities. Our large group was able to spread out and had an amazing timeOnly hiccup was being given an incorrect code for entry the first day.
