Amazing location minutes from Oak Beach and walkable to town/restaurants/shops. Perfect spot for three friends on our annual reunion trip. We loved having the ability to make campfires in the backyard. Lou was a communicative host and it was a pleasure staying here.

Nice, quiet get away in beautiful South Haven (have ever been there before). Would be a great location for summertime/beach fun for a small family and/or a couple. I went there on a golf getaway and suited our needs perfectly! Highly recommend!

This is our second time here and I would highly recommend this home. Check in was a breeze, the home is comfortable and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing vacation. The location is excellent and close to the beach and a short, easy drive to downtown. Very clean, well appointed kitchen that we used every day. Lou is an amazing host!

We just wrapped up our third year staying here, and it's become one of those places our family looks forward to returning to every summer.The location is hard to beat—about a block from Oak Beach and just a short walk to Bundie's Bakery. The neighborhood, which has a quiet, relaxed cottage feel that we really enjoy.The house is set up especially well for families. We make good use of the kitchen every trip, and the yard is a great place to relax and spend time together after a day at the beach.Lou is an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. It's clear he cares about his guests having a great experience.After three summers here, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. We already booked for next year!

Family fun in South Haven

Location is great. Easy walk to the beach. Perfect size for a family. Played catch in the big yard. Grilled a couple of times.

Good for family

Close to Oak beach in quiet neighborhood. Nice side yard my kids enjoyed playing in after the beach. Few easy blocks to walk to stanley park. Owner easy to get ahold of and communicate with. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Excellent beach vacation!

We had so much fun during our trip. The house is great, and has an excellent location just a couple of minutes walk from Oak Beach on the north side of South Haven. Quiet neighborhood, close to all amenities. Lou is a very thoughtful host! We will definitely be back here for our next South Haven trip as a family.

I was looking for somewhere to stay close to South Haven very last minute, and found this house. It is in the perfect location to the beach and a very short drive to downtown. The house itself is older and needs some updating but very clean. I do think it was kind of expensive for one night, but maybe that was because we only stayed one night, so all the VRBO fees were not “spread out”.

Perfect Week!

Our family of four stayed for a perfect week. Lou was above and beyond as a host, and the accommodations were exactly as advertised. We felt right at home. The proximity to Oak Beach was perfect for our family (even with little legs). And the beach was phenomenal. The outdoor shower at the house was very convenient!

Great location! Close to the beach. Plenty of room inside and out. Great yard for yard games, BBQ etc. Firepit was nice to have. Only wish there were beach chairs and umbrella for quests to use (for those of us who fly into Michigan).

Comfortable and quiet

Nice big yard. Very close to the beach. Residential area with a quiet neighborhood. Hoping to stay again in the summer with the festivals. The place was clean and homey. From the pictures I see more improvements.
