Great place to stay. Comfortable and great location to the beach

Spent a couple of days relaxing. Accommodation was great along with the location. Great communication from start to finish. I would highly recommend staying here.

A great stay in the Goolwa dunes

A great location close to the beach and with lovely views upstairs . Caters well for 2 couples and 4 children if need be in bunk beds. Our dog enjoyed it too.

Brilliant location

Large house with great views. This street is one of the best locations in Goolwa if you like being close to nature. Very short stroll to the beach through the dunes, kangaroos in the reserve across the road, and birds everywhere.

A lovely location

Really good, with great views and very well located close to the beach, very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Our dogs loved the yard, but kept disappearing under the overgrowth of the back fence, so could not see what they were up to, being beagles I was concerned about the snakes in the dunes, and about them escaping. The garden really needs some pruning and maintenance.

Perfect house, beautiful location

We stayed at this property for 2 nights. The house itself was lovely, with big, comfy leather lounges and a classy, modern interior. The location was amazing, with great views over the national park from the lounge and kitchen and views straight into the dunes from the back deck and bedroom. Walks with our dog along the long stretch of perfect beach were lovely. So close to the Goolwa town if we needed to get something. A great property, just wish we had been able to stay longer. Topped the weekend off with a lovely walk in Kuitpo Forest on the way home. Only one thing, I found the mattress in the upstairs bedroom quite uncomfortable, it seemed almost 'solid' for want of a better word (not like a normal spring mattress?). We recommend this property as a great place to stay if you want some peace, quiet and privacy.

Beautiful house let down by cleanliness

The house is in a beautiful spot and the lounge/kitchen area on the second floor has great views. Unfortunately we felt the cleanliness wasn't up to standard. There was a strong smell in the living area on arrival which we believe was cat spray. This got better after a couple of days of airing but never quite went away. We regularly stay at places with our dog without issue and probably just got unlucky this time with the previous users but the presence of cat hair in the beds and kitchen area (on the stove top!) suggests it should also have been cleaned better.

Thanks for your honest feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location and views, but we’re really sorry the cleanliness wasn’t up to our usual standards. We’ve passed this on to our Operations team to ensure it’s properly addressed, including extra checks for smells and pet hair. We also appreciate it when guests let us know straight away if something’s not right while they’re at the property, as we can usually sort it out quickly. We do contact our guests the day after check-in to check everything is fine, but unfortunately, we didn’t hear back. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, and we hope you’ll consider staying with us again so we can give you the experience we’re known for.

Fantastic location nestled right in the dunes. Great set up with everything but a coffee machine!

Lovely relax with the fur kids

Had a wonderful week in Goolwa Beach, Very relaxing with beach walks everyday with our 2 dogs who had a ball. House was lovely and the location was perfect.

So Relaxing!

We had a great few days relaxing in this beautiful house. It was so inviting. The location is amazing, right on the sand dunes to the beach. Even though the weather was raining & windy, it didn't detract from our stay. The views are great. I highly recommend this lovely house.
