Welcome to Shaka – laid-back, fun, and pet-friendly beach retreat, with views of the rolling dunes, perfect for your next coastal getaway. A quick stroll through the back
gate will have you on the sand of Goolwa Beach in no time, and you’re just a short walk to the surf club where you can enjoy drinks and nibbles on Friday and Saturday nights with a breathtaking view through floor-to-ceiling windows. If you're dining out, Kuti Shack Restaurant, located next to the surf club, offers delicious meals and great coffee, plus outdoor seating where pets are welcome.

Inside, the 3 bedroom home is relaxed and well-equipped for comfort, with a split system in the living area to keep you comfortable year-round. New timber ceiling fans are in the main living areas, and the two bedrooms. The space is filled with entertainment options including big screen TV, a DVD player, Wi-Fi books, and board games, making it great for families or friends to unwind. If you have to work, there is a laptop -friendly workspace.

The kitchen is ready for your culinary adventures with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, and electric kettle. When it's time to wind down, the master bedroom offers direct access to the front deck, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening drink while watching the magpies play in the towering trees across the road. You can also relax on the back deck at the large outdoor table, with a chilled bottle of bubbles after a day at the beach, and listen to the waves crashing on Goolwa Beach.

The sand dunes are visible from the back of the house and make a fascinating back drop.

On a practical note, there is a modern bathroom with shower and a separate laundry with washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is also an outdoor shower which is brilliant for washing sand off humans or dogs, after a day at the beach.

The beds will be freshly made for guest arrival with sheets, pillowcases, and quilt covers. Bath towels, mats, hand towels, and tea towels are all supplied.

There is a huge, fully enclosed backyard with grass and a metal (similar to colourbond) 1.2m high fence (at its lowest point).

Any bookings of 28 days or more have a fortnightly quick clean included at no additional cost.

Extra Guest Charge:
Our standard rate is for 2 guests only. Please note that an additional fee will apply $30 per person per night in excess of 2 guests.

Note: If an extra guest after 2 is staying for 1 night only, it's $60 for 1 night.

You have booked the property for a certain number of people (as specified on your booking). If you would like to have extra guests stay at any time, please contact us in advance. We will advise if this is possible and, if so, the additional cost.

Our cleaners plan their daily schedule for the number of guests booked in at each property. If undeclared guests stay, the rate charged retrospectively will be double the standard rate.

Please take note that this does not include any amount to any damages that you may incur if you violate any of our house rules. We do not allow parties, events and smoking at the property.
