Ce est une maison d'hôtes vraiment adorable que vous ne voudrez pas manquer. Ce est un pâté de maisons de la plage à couper le souffle. Idéalement situé 1/2 mile entre le célèbre Vent n Sea Beach et La Jolla Cove. Venez garer votre voiture et ne jamais avoir à revenir en elle! Idéalement situé sur la piste cyclable, idéal pour les promenades ou le jogging. Une courte 1/2 mile de Village pour le shopping, les restaurants, les cafés et les épiceries. La maison a été entièrement rénové, TV à écran plat dans le salon et la chambre, un lit queen Tempur-Pedic lit, planchers de bois de bambou dans la cuisine et espace de vie, sur la porte de douche chauffée à laver à en revenant de la plage, laveuse et sécheuse et entrée privée ... Aucune dépense n'a été épargnée. Si vous voulez faire l'expérience de La Jolla ce est l'endroit pour vous.

The cottage was perfect for the two of us. John explained everything on arrival, and said we were welcome to use the well-stocked fridge and cupboards (coffee, wine, condiments and more!). We had decided to Uber places rather than rent a car and this turned out to be a good idea as I wouldn't have liked to deal with parking in La Jolla or San Diego. It was an easy walk into La Jolla for restaurants and the farmer's market, and down to the nearby beaches. Watching sunsets from the deck every evening was a treat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint and comfortable property. Easy walk to many shops and restaurants. So close to the beach! John met us when we arrived and was available if we needed anything.

We absolutely loved our stay and thankful to be so close to the beach! Literally a 2 minute walk for toes in the sand. We parked our Jeep and were able to walk the entire town the whole time we were there. The guest house was very clean and well appointed with everything we needed to make meals when we didn’t feel like going out. WiFi worked great and the house was clean as could be.

John’s beach house in La Jolla is probably the best rental house I’ve ever stayed in. It’s beautiful and equipped with everything you need for your stay. The views from the front porch are phenomenal, and the beach is just steps away. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and I was able to walk everywhere as I was traveling without a car. I hope to come back again in the future!

There have been few times when I've hesitated to write a review -- ONLY because I want to keep this GEM to myself (so as to have it avail anytime I desire).That would be extremely, utterly, ridiculously selfish! BECAUSE everything about this cottage was so perfect that others should be given the opportunity to share in the JOY!The location is FABULOUS. 3 minute walk into the village and 3 minute walk to the #30 bus. Even faster to the beach! (The bus, BTW, is SIMPLE AND CHEAP!!! Airport to La Jolla was 2.50).BUT, without question, the cottage is EVERYTHING and MORE than anticipated. J&K have provided everything I needed for a one week stay. (I didn't use them, but even the most luxurious bathrobes.)The kitchen is very well appointed. All requisite beach equipment (didn't use but next time).The washer/dryer came in soo handy.Bed was incredibly comfortable.Truly, the only thing I needed was band-aids for the blisters after walking across almost every inch of La Jolla & San Diego. Train was also SIMPLE to Irvine! (Get a Gelato in Solana Beach and tell DEAR, KIND Alex that "The Penny Lady" said hello. Excellent Gelato directly across from the train station!)TRULY, you can't find a better set of hosts or a place to lay your head in a little slice of heaven on earth!

Not only was it just a minute from the beach, but the place was spotless and so comfortable. Great bed and shower, and we really enjoyed having the well outfitted kitchen. John was a welcoming host.
