Amazing historic beach cottage location only 50 steps from the ocean at Mission Beach. We picked this cottage for the extremely close proximity to the ocean and it did not disappoint 3 houses back from the sand. Sven is a great host who is responsive and takes care of any issues quickly. AC works great in the home, awesome front patio on the pedestrian lane is quiet and provides quick access to the water. Local Mission Beach area has excellent and fun bars-restaurants such as Guava Bar, Single Fin Bar & Grill, Miss B's Coconut Club, Pita Bowl, and Olive Bakery. Plus location is 10min walk to heart of Pacific Beach from the cottage.

The cottage was clean and was SO close to the beach as well as restaurants. The garage as well as the air conditioning were appreciated! The host was easy to communicate with and responded to messages promptly.

Our stay was great. This place was in a great location, so close to the beach. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The garage was tight like it said in the listing, we have a Mazda cx5 and it was a tight fit. The house was clean and comfortable. I loved sitting on the patio and listening to the waves. We were able to walk to places to eat near by, and we even walked to Ralph's for coffee creamer. There is no washer & dryer but there's a clean laundry mat right up the street. The AC was great after a day in the sun. The Tacos at Baja mission tacos are amazing and the breakfast at Olive is a must. The beach gear wasn't great, the chairs were good but the beach umbrella was broken. Overall the was a great place and highly recommend.

Excellent experience at the cottage! It is a cozy space for sure, but the location to walk to either Mission Beach or Mission Bay in just minutes is unbeatable. It's almost in the middle of everything, really great location. The Hosts communication was perfect, any instruction was advanced, accurate, and helpful, also, more than willing to accommodate. Was really great to communicate with. Thank you, Sven!

This was a great place to stay! We had everything we needed, check in information was thorough, and the bikes were a nice touch! The place was clean and exactly as described. Air conditioning worked well. Walking distance to coffee, food, and boardwalks on the ocean side and the bay side. The patio was the star of this place! Bigger than it looks in the photos and super comfortable place to hang out. I never had to contact the host because we really had everything we needed and all the information provided made it easy to navigate the ABnb. Thank you for having us! Definitely recommend this place to others and will stay here again!

Great location and great host! This cottage was perfect for my family’s visit to San Diego. There were six of us 3 adults and 3 kids. The layout of the cottage worked really well for us as the kids were able to have their own room.We walked down to the beach every day and used the body boards and sand toys there at the cottage, beach umbrella and chairs. There is a lifeguard tower on the beach right as you walk out from the path to the cottage. There is also an outdoor heated shower on the side of the cottage which was great for after the beach. There were plenty of towels and lots of hooks to hang them to dry out for the next day.We walked to do laundry once, the laundry mat is only a few blocks away. It is also walking distance to a small conscience store and Ralph’s. The location was great for us, as it was quiet at night but walking distance to any of the night time action in the area. Host was very responsive to any questions we had. We had a wonderful vacation.

Cottage was the perfect place for my wife and our 3 adult children. The place was stocked with everything we could need, and being 3-4 houses from the beach was just what we wanted. Lots of places to eat and interesting to watch all the people in the boardwalk. Highly recommended staying here. Also, loved the front patio with large dining table and couches!!

Very good communication with host before the stay…we knew what to expect. We were steps away from the beach which we loved. We felt safe staying in this location. We were able to walk to breakfast, ice cream, my son in law enjoyed jogging at the beach walk in the morning. The house was great with a/c making it very comfortable especially for sleeping.
