Artist Retreat: A cabin tucked away in nature close to LA

A private and peaceful cottage tucked away in the hills of Tujunga. Enjoy the serenity of nature & exceptional sunset views. The place has a a full sized kitchen with all appliances, luxurious bathroom with rain shower, memory foam mattress, and original artwork. French doors open to an outdoor area with seating and a BBQ, surrounded by trees and the sounds of birds: perfect for creative reflection. Very quiet and peaceful yet a 5 min drive from main Blvd that has all stores you might need. We are also an 8 min walk from a lovely trailhead hike through the nearby canyon hills.

The space:
A studio sized cottage nestled in the hills and at the end of a residential street, surrounded by trees and the magic of nature. Very private and safe area with exceptional vista views.

The place is fully equipped with a full kitchen, dishwasher, memory foam queen mattress and big screen TV. Luxurious micro-cement bathroom with a walk in rain shower boasts a Bluetooth speaker and coloured lights. Guests also have access to a shared laundry room (a separate room with entrance right outside the cabin) that has a dryer and washer.

The stairs are the main every day entrance to the unit with 3 free parking spots at the street level. There is also a car loading access point through the main residence driveway for easier loading of heavy luggage.

We welcome pets but need to know a bit about them before we approve your booking.

Guest access:
Guests can park for free at the street level and walk down the stairs to the cabin. They have access to an outdoor patio with a BBQ and patio seating as well as a laundry room.

Other things to note:
The unit is surrounded by hilly mountains so please be mindful of keeping your pets safe from coyotes and other wildlife.

Smoking is not allowed.

For arrivals before 2pm we require an early check-in fee of $30. For late arrivals, late-check in fee is $30 after 8 pm and $40 after midnight. Late check-outs are charged $20.

Pets are charged a $200/stay cleaning fee. For stays longer than 1 month we request guests to allow our cleaners to come once per month for $100 fee. We require a $250 damage deposit which is refundable. If excessive cleaning is required after check out, a $150 fee will apply. A $100 fee applies for any lost or unreturned keys.

We do not allow parties of any kind.
