Welcome to Jus' For Fun!

Who does not love an oceanfront home that you can wake up in the morning, make a cup of coffee, and sit on the covered front porch while listening to the waves of the ocean.
After a long day on the beach, you can wash off at the outside shower.
Adults and/or kids can enjoy a game of ping-pong.
The home offers ceiling fans, TV in the main living area, wood burning fireplace, private walkway to the beach, sofa bed in the living room, central heat & air, FREE WiFi, and everything you would need to have an enjoyable vacation!

Bedrooms 1-3 are located on the top level of the home.
4th bedroom is located downstairs with private bathroom and separate entrance (no interior stairs).

Cute house

Very cute house but needs some maintenance and we couldn’t get any help with it.

Great beach house

This is a clean and well furnished home. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. The back porch view was great! We have been to Holden Beach many times and this home was at the top of our list!

Jus for Fun rides it's lovely beach location

Great beach with lovely oceanfront views. Tired interior and cobbled together tableware and amenities...extra if you need cable TV on a rainy day.

Deceptively advertised as four bedroom home. Fourth bedroom in basement is so musty and humid, it’s uninhabitable. Outdoor shower is simply to wash off sand after returning from beach.

Hello Lisa, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the basement bedroom didn’t meet your expectations and understand your concerns about the humidity and mustiness. The outdoor shower is designed for rinsing off sand after the beach. Our team has confirmed that the separate fourth bedroom is habitable and equipped with both an air dehumidifier and a window AC unit to help manage humidity given its location. We will also have maintenance check the shower. We appreciate your input and hope to host you again for a better experience in the future!

The house itself is nice even though it has some apparent age. Perfect size. The ocean access and view is great. Very enjoyable sitting on the porch and watching and listening to the ocean. Quiet area.

Nice house, nicely decorated- not the generic craft store wall art you often see. Full, covered back deck/porch, with all the rockers, was a real plus. We are bookmarking this home.

Beautiful location

The location was wonderful. It was not a crowded area and people friendly. Did have a few issues with house. The outside shower started spraying out under stairs, leaking dishwasher, dirty towel left on floor by cleaning staff, electrical downstairs was sparking and tripping breaker. Vacasa responded to most issues promptly.

Great Beach House!

This was our 5th vacation at Holden Beach. We had never stayed on the east side of island before. Being on this side, makes everything off the island closer because of the proximity to the bridge. The house was very clean, the beds were already made and towels were in the bathroom. The back porch provides a great view of the beach and you can even see the lighthouse at Oak Island. The kitchen was well furnished and making meals there was not a problem. The decor in the house was interesting (maps, ships, nautical/fishing theme). TV's and internet worked great. We love this place and hope to stay there again.

Cozy home away from home

We loved our stay at this lovely house.ur favorite part of the house was the porch. We had beautiful views of the ocean with visits from a couple of dolphins in the morning. We loved rocking in the rocking chairs and the amazing swing that was provided on the porch. You were literally steps away from the beach. The family enjoyed searching for sharks teeth, collecting shells, watching breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and cooking fresh seafood daily. We loved that we had room to roam at the beach. We were there during the summertime and we still had space between cabanas, and still were able to view the ocean from the home. We will be back for sure. Thank you for sharing this home away from home.

Gem of a beach house

The pictures don't do this house justice. For our family of 4, the layout and size of this house was perfect. All appliances and A/C worked great and it was a pleasure to have everything on one floor, including washer/dryer. It was also nice not having to worry about towels and linen. All three beds were quality beds and we enjoyed restful sleep during our stay. The location on the beach was great--not very crowded at all. The public access next door was not bothersome at all. The view from the deck was something we truly enjoyed during our stay. We would recommend this house highly and would not hesitate to come back here again. Have been impressed by Vacasa every step of the way!

Great little beach house

This home is just right for 6 people. It's advertised as 8 but that would be a sleeper sofa in a common area. Maybe kids would be ok in it but not adults. There was a huge hiccup for us, but there wasn't any option but to send a couple out to a motel. Long story. We did find the housekeeping to be up to par. That was nice since I did see some places had issues with housekeeping. When I blew a breaker in the kitchen, a technician was sent right away. He was well mannered and very polite. All in all...the trip was fun for our group, although we would have liked to all be together. 3 couples fit perfectly.

Property was clean and close to beach. Awesome view from the deck. We had one issue that was a little frustrating. We were informed about 3 hours before arrival that the dishwasher wasn’t working and would be replaced Monday morning. No big deal we can hand wash dishes. However that was not the case. We prepped dinner Saturday night and went to use the kitchen sink and water went all over the floor. Someone came out quickly to look at it and said it was fixed and go ahead and use the sink. Sunday morning used the sink and water all over the floor. We figured it was no use reporting it since a replacement dishwasher was due to be installed Monday. We had a 6 week baby with us so trying to clean bottles and dishes in a bathroom sink was a challenge but we got it done. Monday morning the dishwasher shows up around 9:30. By 2 PM still not installed and no call from Vacasa. We call Vacasa and they tell us the dishwasher had not arrived yet. We confirmed it is in fact at the house. Vacasa said they need to find an installer which took about 2 hours. We thought Vacasa should have known or checked to see if the dishwasher was delivered. The installer shows up about 4:30 and proceeds to make the repairs. However he can’t get to the electric panel to shut off the power. He has to wait for someone to show up with a key. By this time its a little after 6. He finished the repair around 7:30. Things happen but Vacasa could have been better during the hole process. We didn’t receive an apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience it caused us from Vacasa. We understand everyone is short handed and try to be aware of the challenges companies has these days. We’ve used Vacasa several times but may consider someone else in the future.

Great location! Room was clean and had wonderful views. Indoor pool was great until the last day when it seemed the heat was turned off, then indoor pool and hot tub were freezing. Host was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We would 100% stay here again!
