Donnez à votre famille des souvenirs de vacances à la mer dans ce charmant cottage côtier au bord de la mer, paisible et relaxant. Belle grande plage, même à marée haute!

La maison est située à l'extrémité ouest de l'île où il ya moins de monde et beaucoup plus intime. Il ya peu de circulation sur les routes à la différence de la circulation à grande vitesse à l'Est.

PROMENADE DE LA PLAGE: Il n'y a absolument «pas de marche» sur le «Walkway to the Beach» ... ce qui en fait une marche plus sûre pour les jeunes enfants et les personnes âgées. Les seules étapes sont les 5 étapes du pont principal (couvert) de la maison vers le Sun-Deck ... avant que la passerelle ne commence.
• Occupation maximale: (8). (Avec pas plus de 6 adultes ... âgés de plus de 18 ans).

SUPERBE PLAGE à cet endroit idéal! Il ne ya rien comme cette zone de la plage sur Holden Beach ... il se agit d'une section de mile moitié sur Holden Beach où la plage est large et beaucoup de plage (de sable) à marée haute! Tout est de notre bande de plage a très peu de salon sur la plage à marée haute. Tout ouest de cette partie de la plage est une très longue marche de la maison sur le sable.

We had an awesome stay at Holden Beach in Don’s oceanfront house! It was very clean and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was private and the view was beautiful from the back deck! We are hoping to be able to stay here again and again.

The check in process was not smooth, but we got in fine if a little late. The property was clean and in a great location right on the beach. We enjoyed the house and would definitely consider staying again.

This is our second time staying at this house and it has become our favorite beach destination. It has everything we want for a relaxing and enjoyable week at the beach. It was very clean and organized as before. The location is awesome. Things we love are the covered and private poarch facing the ocean, enclosed garage, fully stocked and large kitchen, very wide beach even at high tide, safe location, not crowded beach, very fast internet, bbq grill. The communication with the owner, Don, was excellent. We are looking forward to staying again soon.

Wonderful property! We LOVED it here!! Very comfortable and relaxing place on the beach. Perfect and quiet location! The house was immaculately clean, comfortable beds, nicely decorated, well-equipped kitchen and in a quiet neighborhood! The property owner was great to work with, fast response and super helpful. The beach was beautiful, a true Island getaway off the grid, surrounded by Island nature. We spent a lot of time sitting on the beautiful deck, with such a peaceful view, while enjoying the sea breeze. The sunrises/sunsets were amazing. I wish I could drink my coffee on that oceanfront porch every morning. Everything was wonderful. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer, but we absolutely plan to come back. Thanks for a wonderful week of family fun and memories!

Great Getaway

We enjoyed our 2nd stay at Don’s perfect Beach house. Loved the spectacular views with long walks on the beach. Saw dolphins the first day and deer at dusk walking in the dunes. Will definitely be back again.

House and beach were very nice. Property was clean, relatively updated, and we made use of provided beach chairs and toys. Word of caution: We found a couple of grass burrs stuck in the carpet in various rooms. My daughter and I went outside to play volleyball without shoes on and immediately had multiple burrs stuck in our feet. So just a word of warning to wear shoes at all times.

This is an older home, not fancy but really quite beautiful. If you're looking for a nice quiet vacation and a beautiful uncrowded beach this is it. Owner was great as we navigated through tropical storm debbie.

Great Beach, Comfortable House!

The beach is beautiful on this side (west) of the island. The house is comfortable, clean, and roomy. There is a sand volley ball court that the family loved using. A recommended stay!

Holden Beach Vacation

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach house. There were many things we loved about the property. The house was exceptionally clean and organized. We loved the privacy that the trees provided from the neighboring houses. A garage to keep the car in was a big plus. The beach is very wide even at high tide and is not crowded at all. A new bbq grill was provided and we used it several times. The property manager, Don, made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need. Looking forward to staying again in the future. Easily a 10 star experience.

Great location. Quiet and comfortable and just steps away from the beach. We rested, relaxed, ate good, took long walks on the beach and enjoyed the view from the porch. Loved watching deer and rabbits from the porch.

Spontaneous getaway

Very spacious house. Served all of our needs and we had a wonderful time! Would definitely return! Quiet area, back porch was excellent for rocking and watching the ocean. Walkway was very nice. Appreciated the communication in booking this one last minute.

Annual Family Trip

The property is on the quiet end of the island. The long board walk was very helpful taking our things to the beach. There is more than ample seating for the meals or watching TV. The open face design with the kitchen, dining, and seating allows a family to interact with each other while in the house.

We love staying here.

Nice, clean beach house! The owner is easy to communicate with, responsive to any questions or concerns. It is an older home and it is well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need if you wish to cook some of your meals. The walkway to the beach is in good condition & maintained also. We love the covered back porch, a great place to relax! We always wish we could stay longer!

The property was just the right size and set up for our family - 5 adults and 3 children age 8 - 10. The sun room was great for the kids. The house was well maintained. The rugs were a little dirty but the owner had rug cleaners set up to come in as we were leaving. The owner was very responive to anh issues. We had a great time

About the owner: Our family has been spending summer vacations on the East Coast since the very early 1900's when our Great Grandfather took my Grandfather as a boy down to the barrier Islands off the Eastern seaboard. Sadly, as much as all the older generations LOVED the shore, they were never able to afford to buy a house there. My Grandfather had the opportunity to 'buy' a lot on an Island for $200 in the early 1900's, but in his own words; 'that was too much money' back then...he couldn't afford it...he grew up in the great depression. We need to remind ourselves that we are a very blessed generation to have been able to finally buy a Beach House. It still took a lot of sacrifices and it is not easy, but we know it brings a lot of joy to a lot of people...not just us. We have a young 'special-needs' boy, and there is no greater feeling than watching his face when he is at the Beach! We are sure this will bring many fond memories to your Children... if you can simply put down the cell phone, computer and remote while you are here and just enjoy being with your family at the Ocean!

Why the Owner Chose Holden Beach, NC, USA:
Our Father loved boating and the Ocean. He wanted to buy a house on the NC Coast and retire there. My parents had visited and traveled the entire East coast over their lifetime. But they fell in love with the North Carolina Coast. They had just started taking trips there to determine which Island they wanted to buy on. Sadly, two weeks later after making his last trip there, he passed away...at the young age of 54. In 2003, after years of just thinking about it, I decided I wanted to purchase a house on the NC Coast...a place where I could re-live a lot of the memories my Father had given us on the coast. I started taking trips to every Island and every town up and down the NC Coast. Upon doing so, there was no question that Holden Beach really caught my eye. 'In my eyes'... it was the most natural, most peaceful, pristine Island of all of them (other than the National Seashore areas which of course you cant build on). There is no commercialism, no condominiums, no signs, no over-building, no crowds...just quiet, natural barrier Island in all its natural beauty. It has pristine beaches with very clean, warm water. When the Realtor gave me the keys to the house for sale before I purchased it, I sat on the Oceanfront deck for over 4 hours before I brought her keys back...I simply didn't want to leave!
The Ocean is fairly shallow and clean. The architecture on the Island is a mix of sandcastles, medium-size houses with very pretty architecture and small, older cottages. There is maritime foliage and a sidewalk/bike path that runs almost the entire length of the Island to take it all in. The beauty of the West end is how quiet it is...very few cars.
Just off the island as you come off the bridge onto the mainland is where the stores are...a very nice Grocery Store (Food Lion), Walgreens Drugstore, Restaurants/Dining of all sorts, Ice cream stands, a water-slide park, miniature golf, gift shops, gas station and more.
