    We had a great visit to Lisbon. The apartment was exactly as offered, very clean, airy, great location and nice and quiet. We were surprised actually at how quiet the street was at night. The washing machine was an awesome bonus as Lisbon was our last stop before heading home and we were able to bring our suitcases back clean! We did have a little hiccup arranging our checkin as we travel with no data specifically to unplug. We did get it sorted out though with a little help from vrbo. There is a lot to see and do in Lisbon, this location is very central. You could do most of it walking if you like to walk but also easy access to transit of all kinds if you just pop down to the river. There are a couple of parking garages a little ways away, if you plan on driving in. The parking was a touch pricey but to be expected with a big city. It was nice to have the security of protected parking. And the airport is a quick 20 minute drive. We would happily stay here again!

    The flat was a bit narrow, but clean. Great location close to restaurants, grocery store, shop, trolley and the Marionette Museum (loved it). Also a wonderful Thai Massage studio, Six Senses Thai Massage was right around the corner. We had to leave earlier than planned due to wall restoration in the stairwell that resulted in all the hallway lights having been disconnected by the construction company (unbeknown to us and our host); we had to use our phone lights to find our way in the dark. The flat is on the third floor with very steep stairs and has no bannister to hold onto. We are in our sixties and felt very nervous about the condition of the stairwell. We contacted our host Andre and explained the situation and that we would have to move to another accommodation. He was very responsive and understanding and gave us a full refund on the remaining nights.

The building's condominium organized the wall restoration in the stairwell, and neither we nor you were aware that the construction company would disconnect the hallway lights. We completely understand how unsettling it must have been to find your way up the stairs using your phone lights, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and worry this caused. Your safety and comfort are always our priority. Thank you for contacting us right away and for your understanding while we arranged the refund for the remaining nights.     Tout s'est très bien passé. Appartement nickel, emplacement impeccable, au calme et pas loin du centre. Arrivée autonome. Hôte aux petits soins pour nous. Nous recommandons fortement cette location pour tous les couples souhaitant découvrir cette très belle ville.
