Ivan, we are pleased to see that you gave 5 dtars are everything but... the location. We are sorry sorry to hear that you didn't like the location of this cabin. Most guests book this home specifically for the location as it has amazing sun sets and amazing views and it's oh so close to the slopes, village and lake. We do our best to inform our guests and be transparent. Perhaps next time a lakefront cabin will work best for you. It is noted for this property that the road is dirt and that is it further away from the village than the rest of the cabins. We apologize that this was not brought to your attention, we will do our best to bring more attention to the quality of the road leading to the cabin as well as its location. "We had a great time and it was a fine place to stay" sounds like a wonderful review of this home... We value your feedback and please rest assured that we take great pride in the Wild Burro home. We have done a thorough walk through to check your concerns and we will reach out directly to you to better understand your concerns, as we were unable to replicate them during our walk through. All of the beds in this home are newer beds with newer high end mattresses. The memory foam activates upon temperature (body heat) Most guests sleep well on our beds and find them comfortable. As a note, while traveling to Big Bear Lake in the winter it is always suggested that guests drive a 4 wheel drive in the mountains and we write this in our emails to guests. This home is off a dirt road that is easy to navigate and travel upon, and we do disclose this to all guests prior to arrival. We will reach out to you directly to better discuss this feedback so that we can make sure that we are delivering the 5 star guest experience that we aim for. Thank you

Hello Matt, Wild Burro is a great cabin if you are looking for a remote escape! The steam shower and hot tub are magical. We apologize for the issues you had. Unfortunately, an office check in is required by the city and county in Big Bear and not something we can change. It is also required by them for the reservation holder to be the one to check in, we do apologize for the issues but it is not something we can change. We will be sure to clean up the emails and make it more streamline for future guests! Thank you for your feedback. Besides the issues we hope you had a great stay.
