Casa das Pergolas Retraite Été / Hiver, Comporta, Alentejo

Casa das Pérgolas est plus qu'une maison de plage, c'est une maison extrêmement confortable en été ou en hiver, ce qui en fait une parfaite retraite paisible toute l'année.
La maison a été conçue par le duo d'architectes portugais MIMA Housing qui a reçu en 2013 le prix «Building of the Year» décerné par ArchDaily et présenté dans plusieurs magazines d'architecture internationaux tels que Dezeen et Archilovers.

Notre toute nouvelle maison est située à Brejos da Carregueira de Cima, à 5 minutes en voiture des plages de Carvalhal, Pego et Comporta. Vous pouvez également louer un vélo à proximité et accéder aux plages isolées qui ne sont pas facilement accessibles en voiture. La réserve naturelle bien préservée de la forêt de pins juste en face de notre maison est parfaite pour une promenade matinale.

Il y a trois chambres. Deux d'entre elles sont spacieuses et disposent d'un lit double queen-size et d'une salle de bains privative. La troisième chambre est plus petite (9 m² hors placard et couloir), a deux lits simples et sa propre salle de bain avec douche (pas en-suite).

La cuisine est entièrement équipée. Il y a une grande terrasse avec coin repas extérieur, piscine (3x10m, profondeur 1.75m) et chaises longues Il n'y a pas de clôture autour de la piscine, utilisez-le à vos risques et périls!
Toute la maison a un chauffage par le sol radiant. Une connexion Wi-Fi et une télévision par satellite sont disponibles. Cette maison a la certification de performance énergétique A +.

C'est un petit quartier tranquille de Comporta. Il se trouve à 5 minutes en voiture des meilleures plages de la région et des belles rizières à travers lesquelles vous pourrez vous promener ou faire du vélo.
En face de notre maison il y a une grande réserve naturelle parfaite pour l'observation des oiseaux, la course ou simplement des promenades détendues.
Il y a une école de surf, une école d'équitation et un service de location de vélos à proximité.
L'aéroport le plus proche est l'aéroport Lisboa Humberto Delgado, situé à 59 km de la maison.

Perfect location

This was a perfect location to enjoy the coastline between Comporta and Melides and relax at the end of our three weeks visiting southern Spain and Portugal. The house and set-up was wonderful. Easy check-in and check-out.

A wonderful week’s stay in Comporta. Sara, and Maria couldn’t have been more helpful. The villa is beautiful & very clean and has everything that a family could need. The area is beautiful and very serene. The beach clubs and restaurants offer wonderful food too. We will definitely be back.

Lovely stay

Lovely place. Definitely need your own transport. Nice beaches and places to visit in the area. Be warned the pool isn’t heated, so our kids couldn’t use it, was very cold which was disappointing. Otherwise nice.

Peaceful haven in comporta

This house was perfect! It’s comfortable, welcoming, calm and beautifully appointed. We all felt like we were at a spa while sitting in the backyard. Just minutes by car from the charming town of comporta and the beautiful beach makes the location wonderful. Sara was super easy to communicate with and Maria, the house manager, couldn’t have been more lovely. We’ll be back. Highly recommend!!!!

Wonderful stay

The property was beautiful. We loved being in between Conporta and Calvahal. Maria was a lovely host and made the check in process simple. I was worried about mosquitos but we had three bites between us so it was fine. We stayed in May and the pool temperature was fine even for the kids-we had short wetsuits just in case and they used them on milder days. The view from the patio area is stunning it was so peaceful and we had everything we needed including towels for the pool etc. We would stay here and again and strongly recommend it!

Would love to do again

Property was absolutely immaculate. Standard and quality of all fittings was very high. Although we were advised to give an hours notice of check in we actually found ourselves in the area earlier than expected but when we rang Maria she came straight away and could not have been more charming and welcoming. Her comment ‘this is your home ‘ made us feel so at ease and we certainly treated it as such. A great deal of thought had obviously been put in to what may be needed on holiday in addition to the obvious crockery / cutlery etc., and the beach towels / throws etc were very appreciated. If this is the general standard of your holiday rentals then we are hooked !!

das Haus war schöner als auf den Fotos dargestellt, eine positive Überraschung, auch der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf wunderschöne alte Pinien war perfekt. Wir waren zum ersten Mal in der Gegend. Mit einem Mietwagen ist alles sehr gut erreichen. Insgesamt sehr entspannend !

Recommended!

Nothing but good comments: we had an excellent vacation in this superb villa. The kitchen was great, each bedroom had a bathroom - a real dream! Responsiveness of property manager was 10/10. You will need a car unless you want to stay at the pool for the whole period. As for the region: the beaches are excellent and almost empty in September except weekends. Good food in some of the restaurants, that are becoming quite expensive and I think overrated on googlemaps. In general, the area is much overpriced as tourists are being told in the news and by the locals that Comporta is becoming the Cote d'Azure or Miami of the future for the rich and famous :). Beware of insects in September, flies or mosquitos. Troia/Soltroia is comparable to Benidorm. We went horse riding, buggy riding, golfing and explored the region. Happy to have rented the property!

A wonderful holiday

This property was even better in real life than in the listing. It was in a perfect location, within a 10 minute drive to all three of the key beaches in the area and town of comporta. Maria the property manager was attentive, responsive and very helpful. The house was immaculate upon arrival and Was equipped with everything we needed for our stay—from the bathroom to the kitchen and laundry. We really appreciated also the great beach towels and two umbrellas for beach days. It was our first time in the area and this house was perfect start point for us to explore. We highly recommend it and hope to return.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Photo's on the listing look fantastic but even better in person! Great location for exploring the area and Sara was attentive throughout with many recommendations. Maria was incredible too. She helped us with so many things and she is an absolute star. Beautiful place

We loved our time at Sara and Diego's house. It is a beautiful, calm space with everything we needed (2 adults and 3 children) for a wonderful holiday in Comporta. Despite the weather being a bit mixed, we were able to relax and enjoy our time together in this wonderful place. Maria, who looks after the house, was super helpful and always available to answer our questions. Highly recommended.

Incredible house in an incredible place

We had a perfect time during our stay at the house and visit to Comporta. The home is equally beautiful and comfortable and was just what our family needed for our Comporta vacation. It is well located and a 5-10 minute drive to everything in the area, from the beaches to restaurants and shopping. The pool and back deck are lovely and serene. The kitchen is great and well stocked should you want to do some serious cooking, the bedrooms are very comfortable with great linens and beds and the bathrooms are luxurious including rain showers throughout. The only issue we had was because of the hot weather in late August the house gets very warm in the late afternoons unless you leave the big sliding doors open. It does cool down very well in the evenings and overnight, however. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating in the lead-up to our trip and the local caretaker answered all our questions very easily. We hope to come back one day soon!

Beautiful, stylish holiday home in tranquil surroundings

We arrived a bit later (and lost) than expected but Maria Augusta reassuringly came to meet us so we could follow her for the last 5 minuted from Comporta. What a beautiful house to arrive at! She had thoughtfully provided some light snacks and wine and coffee and showed us around. We were very grateful after a long journey. The swimming pool was a real bonus to this beautiful and stylish house. Two very large double bedrooms and one twin room for the children with a very large open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen. We had everything we needed. The kids loved Netflix! This is the perfect house from which to explore Comporta’s beautiful beaches and surrounding area. It was always a joy to come back to the house and chill out in the late afternoon sun. We appreciated the recommended restaurants and info. I’m giving this house 4 stars rather than 5 because I think a fan or two would have helped with the heat. It did get quite hot but we were there in temps of around 37c. My only other tiny ‘complaint’ is that the coffee machine is rather temperamental but otherwise, a very well-equipped kitchen. We very much appreciated the plug in mosquito repellers as this was much needed, likewise when Maria Augusta solved a small ant problem for us! We would really recommend this house and area to anyone wanting a relaxed week in beautiful surroundings in great comfort! Thank you so much Sara, Diogo and Maria Augusta.

The house is very well insulated and usualy correct ventilation keeps the temperatures pleasant, but for days as hot as you had I understand that some additional cooling would be appreciated. We grew up Viana do Castelo, a beautiful city in the north of Portugal in the Minho region. We later went to university in Porto. We are currently working abroad and love to travel and spend time relaxing in our house in Comporta. We are currently traveling around the world for a long period and decided to share our house meanwhile!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We love Comporta for it's warm weather, secluded beaches, great food, calmness, good energies, warm people, to name a few and that's when we decided to build our house there. As we want to be able to enjoy the region the whole year, we didn't build a summer house only. We built a house made of excellent materials and great construction quality. It has high standards of thermal insulation and energetic efficiency (the perks of being an engineers :)). With radiant floor heating on the whole house, the house is extremely comfortable and hygienic all-year round. The front facade and it's large long windows lead to a peaceful, clean and protected pine forest, home to many bird species. The two 4.5x4.5m pergolas were the origin of the house's name. They surround the infinity pool and provide shade for outdoor dinning or relaxing while protecting the house from the sun thus keeping a pleasant and stable temperature inside during warm days.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The morning sun rising behind the pine trees accompanied by the birds singing sets the mood for a perfect day in Comporta. The protected pine forest connected to the infinity swimming pool make you feel at peace. The pergolas allow you to dine outside or lay back while projected from the sun and enjoy a good read and the nature sounds. The floor heating makes the house extremely comfortable, hygienic and lets us to enjoy the house all year round. The nearby secluded beach and rice fields.
