Grande valeur juste sur la rivière

La cabine confortable à 15 pieds du bord de l'eau sur la rivière Cartecay a une grande terrasse grillagée, un énorme foyer au bois et tous les planchers en bois. 2 chambres, 1 maison en bois rond pour 6 personnes dans 1 lit queen, 2 lits gigognes jumeaux. La télévision par câble, Internet sans fil, le chauffage central et l'air apportent des équipements modernes à un endroit qui rappelle une époque révolue, vous attend au bord de la rivière.

Préparez vos repas de vacances préférés dans notre cuisine entièrement équipée ou faites griller vos spécialités pour servir en plein air sur le pont ou à la table de la cuisine. Détendez-vous sur le pont et regardez la rivière couler sur les rochers juste au-delà de la porte grillagée. Allongez-vous dans la chambre principale au son et à la vue de l'eau qui monte doucement. Continuez à vous rafraîchir en été. Lancez une ligne depuis la rive, juste à l'extérieur du pont. Détendez-vous près de la cheminée et entendez le crépitement des bûches de bois en hiver. Dirigez-vous vers l'anneau de feu pour rôtir des hot-dogs ou faire griller des guimauves.

Aventurez-vous pour une randonnée sur le sentier des Appalaches, une aventure en VTT à proximité, une descente de la rivière en canoë, en kayak ou en chambre à air, ou une visite dans un verger Ellijay. Ou tout simplement rester sur place, fasciné par la vue et le son de la rivière.

Rapprochez-vous de la nature et de ceux que vous aimez cette saison dans notre petite cabane en rondins sur le Cartecay.

Amazing stay — truly a gem!We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! The photos don’t even come close to capturing how beautiful, cozy, and inviting it truly is. It was perfect and incredibly comfortable for our family of four.The fireplace made the space extra special, and enjoying bonfires and s’mores was such a highlight (just remember to bring firewood). The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are super comfortable, and having BBQ meals on the deck while listening to the river was unforgettable.Waking up to the sound of the river every morning felt like a gift. The cabin was spotless inside and out, and the host was exceptional — responsive, helpful, and available before, during, and after our stay.We highly recommend this property without hesitation. A truly luxurious and memorable experience — we can’t wait to come back!

Cabin was beautiful, clean , beds were comfy. We had a fire in the fire place which made it even better. Caught a few trout , played some board games that were provided at the cabin and went on a walk. Great time thanks again we will be back.

Super cozy cabin with screened porch for enjoying the sound of running water from the creek. Beds were comfy and kitchen had all the basics. May want to bring some foil and other spices if you plan on cooking. Beautiful location close enough to town but far enough from the Apple festival crowds.

The pictures don't do it justice. The screened porch right on the riverbank is a dream. You can hear the gentle sounds of the river through the bedroom windows. The total darkness after lights out is such a treat compared to the light pollution of the city. The location is close enough to go into town for a meal but far enough away to feel like another world.

This cabin was Perfect for a family of four.•I would suggest downloading Jane’s instructions beforehand as cell service might be limited (zero with AT&T).•Once we connected to the house WIFI, lack a reception was a non-issue with WIFI calling. The service was able to handle 4 streaming devices at once with no lag.The highlight of the cabin was the river. We spent most of our time wading in the river. The host, Jane, is readily available and responsive, typically answering questions within 20-30 minutes. We took advantage of Amicalola Falls State Park, Downtown Blue Ridge, Downtown Ellijay.

Peaceful with natural surroundings

The river is absolutely peaceful with natural surroundings. The cabin is perfect with the sound of the river able to be heard within the cabin. We have stayed here many times and hope to return.

The cabin was right on the river. It was so relaxing to sit on screened in porch and listen to the river. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Would highly recommend.

This is an excellent fishing cabin. The cabin furnishings are a little outdated and the cabin has a slight musty smell. If you like to watch TV in bed at night, then this cabin may not be for you. The back porch overlooking the river is relaxing. Excellent location, excellent fishing. Lacking comfort. Also, the cabin is full of warnings of “what not to do” and threats of losing the deposit that sets a “tone” that does not convey hospitality. I feel there are ways to provide that information to your guests and still remain hospitable. We love the Cartecay River but we probably would not choose this property again due to the lack of comfortable furnishings and the tone set by the owner with the warnings,
