Enter the home and you find the large living room to your right with a large TV atop the beautiful mantel and fireplace (decorative), one bedroom straight ahead, the dining room to your left an expansive kitchen fully stocked and with ample storage adjacent to the dining room. Next to the bedroom you will find the home's bathroom with a spacious shower, storage, and amenities. The staircase between the living room and bedroom lead you up to 2 additional bedrooms.

Each bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and 100% cotton sheets, 2 bedside tables with lamps and an alarm clock, and a dresser. The larger upstairs bedroom also has a desk and chair for your work from home needs.

Stay in the neighborhood and walk to the vibrant Park Avenue market, cafes and restaurants. Explore Oakland’s nearby restaurants, coffee shops, farmer’s market, parks for the littles, cocktail bars for adults, downtown, Grand Lake Theater, Lake Merritt, the redwood, Berkeley and Alameda beach.

This was the best rental we've ever stayed at. The kitchen was spacious and above-and-beyond equipped for a full day of cooking for a Christmas meal with extended family. Kate was quick to respond to questions and a gracious host, and we're very happy to have found this house for the holiday!

We loved our stay at this urban sanctuary in Oakland! The house was comfy and just right for our needs. Great communication with hosts, who were very responsive and friendly. Check-in was super smooth and easy, and there were thorough instructions posted inside the house for stay logistics and checkout process.The house itself has many unique architectural flourishes that I loved — stained glass windows on built-in cupboards, Japanese-style paper and wood window shades, lots of windows with natural light filtering in through the beautiful trees outside. The house has that wonderful sturdy, warm, lived-in feeling that only houses from that era have, which I loved.The kitchen and dining room were spacious and well-equipped with all the essentials we needed, which was great for cooking family meals during our stay. The living room had plenty of comfy seating and cozy lighting for us to hang out and spend some quality time relaxing.It was a nice quiet 10-minute walk to the nearby shopping district with restaurants, coffee shops, nail salons and a little supermarket, which had cute neighborhoody vibes.This would be a great option for a longer-term stay as well, as there’s plenty of storage space. I would definitely stay here again!

The Trestle Glen Neighborhood is like a little suburban getaway within diverse, urban Oakland. Near Lake Merritt, it is centrally located and easy to get anywhere in Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, and beyond.

Our 3 bedroom 1 bathroom craftsman home is spacious and serene, and infused with elements from different eras and styles. The expansive kitchen has all the space you may need for many cooks in the kitchen. The dining room has authentic craftsman built-in cabinets and the dining table fits 8 with ease. The large living room seats as many and is equipped with a 55 inch smart TV atop a beautiful mantel and decorative fireplace. The main level is completed by 1 generously sized bedroom and the home's bathroom - easily accessible for guests and equipped with all you need. Upstairs you will find 2 additional bedrooms with large windows. The larger of the two has the addition of a desk and chair for any work from home needs. Each of the 3 bedrooms are equipped with a queen size bed, 100% cotton sheets, a dresser and closet, 2 bedside tables, lamps, and an alarm clock.
