10/10! We had an amazing stay at this Mission Beach home and it did not disappoint. The location is absolutely unbeatable, just steps to the water, with easy access to both the bay and ocean beaches, the boardwalks, plus a playground and park all within walking distance. We loved the secluded beach right in front of the house, perfect for the little ones, and all the beautiful paths to bike and walk. You're also just a short drive to Sea World, the zoo, Old Town, and everything else San Diego has to offer.The house itself was perfect for our family gathering, plenty of bedrooms, two living rooms spaces, and room for everyone to spread out. The two unit layout worked beautifully for our group, giving us the option to come together or have our own space. The kitchens were well stocked. The patios were great and the rooftop deck views are amazing, a real highlight of the property. Check-in was super easy, and the owners were wonderful. Responsive, helpful, quick to answer any questions we had. Whether you're planning a multi-generational reunion, a spring break trip with friends, or a holiday celebration, this home delivers. We had four generations together for a milestone birthday and couldn't have asked for a better setting.We will absolutely be back!

I think my review for this property depends on what you are looking for. Positives- plenty of beach goods, location is great, patio is nice to relax on, plenty of household items such as shampoo, laundry/dish soap etc. Plenty of towels. If you are just looking for a place to crash, its fine with plenty of room and beds. In our case we brought multiple families. Here were some of the concerns. There are alot of minor repairs that have been neglected and need to be addressed in the units. On day one, both units had ants, one unit in the kitchen. The communication was spotty to get an exterminator out to address this. In one unit the ceiling fan did not work. We were told a repair man would be out the next day, and noone came to repair the entire stay making the living area in the upper room unbearable. The listing said there was one packnplay, when we got there we found 4. Had we known, we could have avoided extra airline fees by bringing extra ones. The floor fans had major bulid up of dust. The kitchen items need to be inventoried, and tested for functionality. Some essential cooking items were missing, while other items there were an excess of multiple appliances, some working, some not. There was not any plastic ware for kids. One unit didnt have a plug for the bathtub, to bath kids. I have stayed in many VRBOs and worked with many hosts. This is the first time i experienced a host that did not offer a credit for their property not being up to standard.
