Bring the whole family or a group of friends to this spacious 3,033 square foot Carmel Valley home with lots of room to create memories. You will enjoy the classic farm house style design and décor, from the claw footed tub in the master bath to the new kitchen appliances rustic styling.
A hot tub and gas barbecue grill have been added since we took our photographs.
The Space:
If visions of countryside idyll stir in your imagination, youâll find those fantasies alive and in full bloom here at Moon Trail Ranch in Carmel Valley.
Situated on a sprawling plot of land at the base of a green mountain range just minutes beyond Garland Ranch Regional Park, this classic farmhouse pulsates with rustic charm. Vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams frame a natural stone fireplace in the main living room, where a piano sits and colorful paintings invoke whimsy. With 3,033 square feet of indoor living, plus a generous backyard and the rest of the grounds to discover, thereâs an abundance of space here for your entire family or group of friends to embrace the tranquility and simplicity so essential to an authentic Carmel Valley lifestyle.
Returning home from a day of wine tasting or hiking in the sunshine, enjoy a long soak in the hot tub, surrounded by flowering lavender, or head for the clawfoot master bathtub! Kids can put their feet on the grass, run, and explore freely while you relax on the patio with your loved ones, watching the sun give way to stars as the chef in your group barbecues on the gas grill.
Sleep soundly in one of five cozy bedrooms, and awaken to brilliant light filtering through the curtains and beckoning you to begin another day of healthy and wholesome recreation and rejuvenation in Carmel Valley and on the Monterey Peninsula.
The Neighborhood:
Should you travel inland from California's scenic Highway One on Carmel Valley Road, you will arrive at the charming, provincial Carmel Valley Village. The sun always shines here, and Carmel Valley Village is home to a handful of excellent bistro-style restaurants that offer outdoor dining. A dozen or so local winery tasting rooms are clustered here within walking distance of each other. Garland Ranch Regional Park offers dozens of miles of dog friendly hiking and equestrian trails.
Only twelve miles away, the village of Carmel-by-the-Sea charms visitors with forested streets and the old English inspired architecture of Hugh Comstock that looks as if it would be at home in the pages of a Fairy Tale. Carmel City Beach is famous for its beautiful white-sand, dog-friendly beach and surfing. The performing arts are alive and well, with concerts and plays at the Golden Bough Theatre, Sunset Center and outdoor Forest Theatre. Dare we mention the hundreds of shops, art galleries and restaurants? The historic Carmel Mission offers daily tours. Point Lobos State Park, offers miles of hiking trails.
