The pictures don't really do justice to how spacious the apartment is, and the sunroom overlooking the creek is an absolute dream. Perfect location for exploring the island and nearby state parks and very clean too. I imagine it gets quite loud on weekend nights from May-Sept when they have live music at Bugeye Grill, but we went in the off season.

Our stay was incredible. The villa was exactly as described and was in a perfect location. Once we parked the car we didn't need it again until we left. You can walk everywhere and everyone is so friendly. The view from the villa's sunroom was a lovely enhancement to our morning coffee. We found the villa to be incredibly stocked with everything we needed and was extremely clean. We hope to stay there again next time we visit Solomons island.

We had a lovely family vacation in Calvert County and really loved the quaint location of this apartment! The views are absolutely stunning. The walkability of the island is priceless. At sunrise we walked to the end of the island and at sunset took in the amazing views of the bridge on our way for ice cream. The Bugeye was a great place for a nightcap with nightly specials. We enjoyed The Pier, Atomic Seafood, hiking to the Calvert Cliffs, Breezy Point Beach, the Calvert Marine Museum and The Lighthouse restaurant! Great place to stay and an exceptional host who responds quickly. A

We loved the beautiful location of this waterfront apartment! The unit was spotless and had plenty of amenities. Our host keeps a book of helpful information with the locations of local restaurants and even included many menus available for guests. We enjoy taking our 9-year old Corgi with us on vacation and loved the pet-friendly accommodations. Many nearby establishments also welcome pets with their owners. This is such a plus when you don’t want to kennel your dog while on vacation (because she gets so stressed.)Another plus is the friendliness of the people we encountered. Whether dining at or visiting the local restaurants and businesses or meeting other vacationers while walking, everyone was so kind. We had a wonderful vacation and look forward to returning to the Sunset Veranda!Sincerely,Nancy and Herbie S.

It is a 2 bedroom with a living room, kitchen and bath, but there are only 2 window air conditioner units in the whole house. None in one of the bedrooms and none in the living room. Luckily we didn't need the second bedroom, but if someone did, it would be very difficult to use it in hot weather. Otherwise, it was clean and conveniently located in town.

The view was absolutely beautiful! The sun room was my favorite! This place was clean, and stocked! From plenty of blankets to helpful items in the bathroom, this place really had it all! We were visiting family, and this was the best place to recharge! I wish we had more time to enjoy this place and the area, guess that means we will just have to come back!

Just what we needed! The weekend was perfect and we loved this place! Joey/host was great. The place was clean. We enjoyed the music behind us and it ended by 10pm which is early so didn’t bother us at all. We will be back!
