The best vacation place

We have stayed at this house multiple times, super clean and comfortable and we just love its remote location on the lake. We’ve already booked for 2025!

Lovely stay!

We had a great week on the lake. We loved that there was both a dock and a way to wade into the lake from the little beach (good for little ones who aren't ready to jump off the dock). House is comfortable and has everything you need. And the deck is perfect for stargazing.

This was our 4th week renting to fish Maine's early season. There have been challenges each stay, this no different. We kept the 14 ft boat trailered 4 days due to weather. Off the dock was good fishing but last section dock was not attached/missing parts would drop down 6 inches or more stepping on it leaving you to catch balance or swim. We lashed it together for the week.The home and it's location is awesome. Prefer the linens not washed with the perfume soaps. I lived in Tomhegan for 10 years, the area has not lost it's charm and this home is smack in the middle of it.

Week in heaven

Had a great getaway, from life. It was totally remote which we loved. The weather was amazing. Used the wood stove and had a campfire everyday. Night. Only negative was that we had to leave. Will be back next year!!! If you love the woods and wildlife. This is the place to come! If you love shopping. Then please stay in Greenville 😆😆😆😆😆

Property itself is fine/good. Stayed there in the past. Now, houses are being built on adjacent lots, and a subdivision down the road is in progress dramatically impacting the reason one chooses this location - to get away. Something to be aware of if that is your goal. Pots, pans, silverware and utensils also needed replacement, and upgrading.

There is a house being built two lots over. I'm not aware of any subdivision. But I clearly have no control over what others do on their property. The pots and pans do get replaced every year.

Excellent pet friendly get away house with superior service from host. Views of Moosehead Lake were breathtaking. Remote and off the grid if looking for that atmosphere. Would HIGHLY recommend to family and friends!

Peaceful fall Vacation

The house and property are beautiful. The main space of the house is comfortable with great views of the lake and changing foliage. Loons were going off during our stay. Very remote and peaceful. About a 45 minute drive from the Rockwood gas station. The dogs loved it too! We hope to be back.

Beautiful place, best vacation!

The remoteness was the draw to this property! We spent the week on the dock, in the water and around the fire pit. Couldn't have asked for better weather. Perfect place for a relaxing get away!

Comfortable house nice lot great access to Moosehead Lake in peaceful North Bay

Great secluded experience. House was very comfortable nice layout. Nice yard and good access to the lake. Love this part of the lake very peaceful. Easy to launch boats, swim, nice dock with benches, fire pit was great, relaxing on the hammock. The wrap around deck with outside table for lunch and dinner and morning coffee great amenity. Would absolutely stay here again.
