Fantastic week in 249 Deer Lodge

249 Deer Lodge was a perfect place to spend 8 nights at Whistler for biking, hiking and exploring in Summer. Thanks for the stay. The 1 bedroom condo was super clean, homely, well appointed with nice furnishings and bed. Plenty of room for 2 people, nice outdoor balcony for morning breakfast, well appointed kitchen with plenty of utensils. Good parking, easy check in. I found the location great, close to grocery store and coffee shops etc down the end of the village walk at the quieter end. And then you get a nice walk through the whole village walk every day if your going to the bike park or the main village area.

The unit is lovely and fully equipped. It has everything you could possibly want including a washer and dryer. It is a perfect location for hanging out in the village and a great starting point for any hikes. The reason for the 4 star rating is because it was extremely warm in the unit. The heater was turned off, we had the fan on in the living room and the air conditioning unit (in the bedroom) on all day. That was the only way we could seem to get it to an almost comfortable temperature. I am sure it is fine in the winter but we were there in late Oct early Sept.
