The Space:

Small families, couples, and weekend adventurers will find the perfect place for a relaxing coastal escape in Sea Spray, an oceanfront condo in Depoe Bay. Enjoy an inviting interior filled with modern comforts, sweeping views of the Central Oregon Coast, and a great location near several restaurants, varied souvenir shops, and amazing views from the rocky seawall. (The easiest sandy beach access is about two miles north at Fogarty Creek.)



Spend a quiet weekend indoors or rest between your adventures in this condo's comfortable confines. Wake with a fresh cup of joe from the Keurig coffeemaker, then review your day's plans. Catch a refreshing nap on leather sofas in the living area, or watch cable TV for entertainment. You could also pour some Oregon pinot, head out the deck, and settle into Adirondack chairs to take in the dramatic views of the rugged coastline.



The open-concept kitchen has everything you'll need to cook fresh-caught Dungeness crab and other local specialties, including stainless steel appliances and varied cookware. Enjoy group meals at the four-seat table, or take your meal onto the deck for an alfresco experience.



Time to call it a day? Retire home for restful slumber in either of two sleeping areas. A telescope in one bedroom is perfect for glimpsing twinkling nighttime stars, whales and ships, or a sunset on the horizon.



Depoe Bay is a quaint community featuring the world's smallest navigable harbor. You'll be less than a half-mile from the OPRD Whale Watching Center for great views of the seasonal gray whale migration, a half-mile from Dockside Charters for crabbing and fishing excursions, and about 12 miles from both Lincoln City to the north and Newport to the south.



Ready for some day trips? Head 14 miles north for stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and boating in Devils Lake, or go slightly farther north for gambling at Chinook Winds Casino. If you've brought kids, they'll love the educational exhibits and playful sea life at the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, while those 21 and older will appreciate a brewery tour at Rogue Brewers on the Bay.



Please note: This unit is located against HWY 101, the harbor, and it is the lower unit to a 2 story building. There may be some ocean, traffic, and foot noise at times. Guests will need to use a staircase to access the bottom unit.

The most fantastic view you will ever find along the Oregon coast! Just above the waves that crash into the rocks on the shore below - such fun to watch. A good view far out into the ocean to watch boats and whales (in season). Walking distance to small shops and restaurants. Up to date interior surfaces, appliances, and furniture, all in great shape. Everything needed to prepare and cook meals is provided. There are two bedrooms (one with no door) that include two queen beds, a day bed, and a sofa sleeper in the living room. Spacious rooms, but with a very homey atmosphere. One thing to note: even though the description says it is the lower unit, it is not a ground floor unit. There are 15 interior stairs leading to it. We loved our stay here and would come again any time!

Parking and Check in was an issue. I did not receive the code and waited about an hour for someone to respond and help me with the process. Couldn't figure out how to lock the property each day I left, watched the provided video which was completely inaccurate. Once I was contacted and someone walked me through the process it worked but the process was completely different from the video. Parking is on the street which was a problem during the daytime it I returned to the unit to drop or pick something up because it's on main street and other people were parking there to walk to the main shopping. I did however have a spot once the shops were closed and shopping decreased. Otherwise, it was a beautiful view out of the main area space into the little inlet and off of the deck.

SUCH an incredible view. So comfortable and homie! My husband and I brought our 2 year old and it met every once of our needs. Food and entertainment are close! We will absolutely be staying here again!

The view is gorgeous. The location is very convenient. The house took several hours to warm up. It seemed all the heat rose to the top of the entry stair. It would be good to put a ceiling fan there to push the air back into the living space. The bathroom was very cold the whole time. The shower did not get very hot despite the water being hot in all of the faucets. It was a stormy and cold weekend but the blankets were nice and warm. A lovely rental.
