Welcome to The Salty Salmon, where the ocean meets comfort and style. This beautifully appointed home offers expansive views, smart design, and plenty of space for family, friends, or multigenerational trips.



A soaring vaulted wood ceiling frames the great room, with a wall of windows that flood the space with natural light and showcase sweeping ocean views. Step outside to the deck to enjoy sea breezes, stargazing, or a barbecue dinner. The custom kitchen and ocean-view dining area make meal prep and shared meals a pleasure. After a day of beachcombing or exploring, unwind in your private hot tub on the fenced deck. A brand-new rec room features a projector screen and a bouldering wall, perfect for kids, teens, or anyone looking to have some fun. With five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and flexible sleeping configurations, the home offers both comfort and personal space for everyone. The Salty Salmon is also pet friendly, so your pup can join the adventure too.



On the main level, the great room connects seamlessly with the dining area and kitchen. The first bedroom features a queen bed, queen sofa sleeper, TV, deck access, and a full bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and is located near another full bathroom. Downstairs, the third bedroom includes a queen bed, queen sofa sleeper, and TV. The fourth bedroom offers double-double/twin-on-top bunks, while the fifth has a twin bunk. Another full bathroom and a laundry area with washer and dryer complete the lower level. Altogether, the home comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests.

Was very nice and would stay here again.

Was a nice house and very well kept. The cleaning crew did a good job of pikcing up the trash that the previous renters left on the ground of the driveway. Overall was a very nice stay.

Nice Getaway at Rockaway Beach

Nice beach house seconds from the beach. Lots of room for guests, well stocked kitchen, and great deck for grilling and reading a book. We spent lots of time in the hot tub, which was very relaxing. Great house for family gatherings.

Nice spacious property near the beach

A group of us enjoyed a long weekend. Unlike some rental properties, this home came fully stocked with plates, utensils, glassware, pans - you name it’s. Looking forward to returning in the summer!

A Wonderful Time at the Beach

This home has a great location! Just a block from the beach with an incredible ocean view from the deck. We enjoyed the private hot tub and sitting around the dining room table talking with friends. This is not a luxury home, but it is a perfect place to make lasting memories with family and friends. We will be coming back to Rockaway!

Cozy and convenient

Public beach access is right across the street and the walk into town is only about 5 minutes. The multiple bedrooms and 3 bathrooms make it comfortable for large groups or multiple families. Easy to travel to nearby towns of Manzanita or Tillamook. The upper deck is nice for beach gazing while the lower deck has the hot tub and a larger seating area.

Perfect location and very clean!

We had a total of 12 people. There were enough beds for all. Couple of the bunk beds had very thin or no mattresses tho but the kids were in there and we just used the extra comforters and blankets as padding. The location to the beach and town is perfect. Will definitely come back!

Christmas at the Coast

The house was perfect! We had just enough space for everyone. There was plenty of area for parking, we loved the view of the ocean. This is our 2nd year at the coast during Christmas & it was everything we wanted. The only thing of concern was the coffee pot has a crack in it but, didn’t leak?!

Great location and a hotub

This was the first time I have been to Rockaway beach. The home was a good size with very large bedrooms. The hotub was great amenity to have at the home and was very relaxing. The home has a great view of the ocean and is walking distance from the beach. The home is also only a 5-10 minute walk into town where you can find restaurants and convenience stores. I would recommend this home to a group looking for a relaxing getaway at the Oregon Coast

Great family weekend in Rockaway Beach

Three families shared the house on a stormy April weekend. The house was roomie and comfortable and pictures of house were very accurate. The hot tub didn't work and we reported it. There were two tool boxes near it so I assume the owner was working on it. We had a pleasant stay and created new family memories.

Dishes were dirty when we arrived, other than that it was in good condition. The space is smaller than it seemed in the photos. The three bathrooms certainly helped with everyone we had. The view is slightly blocked by other beach houses, but still well worth the cost of the rental. We are trying to pick a time to come back!

Rockaway Fun

Overall, a good property with a good location and plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms. Kitchen reasonably equipped. The house was clean and the hot tub was a big hit with the children. The only negative was the living space was a little tight for a 5 bedroom house. One would expect a bigger living space for a 5 bedroom house.

Fun time!

We had a blast with our large group. Lots of towels, which was awesome! Could’ve used more toilet paper. There weren’t clear check out instructions in the book, so we are hoping we did everything expected! Had to call the management company for the hot tub code. Awesome beach access and we had everything we needed!! Would stay there again!

Great Escape!

I loved my stay!! I was exhausted when I arrived and went to the hot tub as soon as possible. It was definitely a rad place!! It's a bit quirky with the layout -- but honestly it made me like it more. The name is super fitting -- but more because it's like an escape artist house. It has a hidden room in a room and it's fun. I recommend it!! Be aware though-- one of the rooms is an open one --so it doesn't have a door but I still felt like we had privacy. Also HOT TUB is fantastic.

A great time was had by all!

Great location just steps to the beach with a great view from the living area upstairs. Plenty of room for a large group. The furnishings and decore are a bit dated but the pictures reflect that. The kitchen was well equipped and we liked the huge table for everyone to gather at. The deck was great and we got a lot of use out of the gas grill. The house was very clean with the exception of some dishes and a little bit of a musty smell downstairs. Being able to bring the dog is a must for us and we appreciate the minimal fee of $40. If we had a big group again we would rent this house.

Thanksgiving 2019

We had an amazing time! This property was perfect for our extended family. It has plenty of beds and the house has everything a family could need. You can tell the owners have taken notice of what will make people feel welcome and comfortable. We have stayed at MANY Vrbo homes and none of them have had the amount of towels and sheets available that this one has! Also, the kitchen had everything we needed! I’m writing this I’m the car on the way home because I couldn’t wait to let others know of this property. It’s steps to the beach and has ocean views from the kitchen and living areas. Thanks for a memorable Thanksgiving!
