Step into our spacious, exceptionally large one-bedroom, one-bath condo designed with a vibrant, beach-inspired feel in the heart of Playa del Carmen’s charming Colonial Hollywood neighborhood. Sunlight pours through expansive windows, filling the space with a warm, airy glow. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private balcony overlooking the swimming pool, or unwind at the stunning rooftop terrace with lush planters—perfect for sunset views and peaceful morning yoga.

The interior features contemporary coastal design with soothing pastel blue tones, creating a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. The bedroom offers an extremely comfortable bed for restful nights and the bathroom includes a refreshing shower, towels and a handy hair dryer. The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with everything needed for both short and extended stays.

"Casa Agave" is perfectly located in the best area of Playa del Carmen-you’re surrounded by quaint coffee shops, cafĂ©s, breakfast hot spots, Chedraui Supermarket and laundromat's. With everything at your fingertips, our condo offers the perfect blend of comfort, location, and laid-back Caribbean living.

We have a roof top area where host Gene, a licensed yoga instructor that holds 4 black belts in - Karate, Chinese Goju, Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and trained Muy Thai Kick Boxing offers yoga classes and breathing work classes with Vinyasa flow and Warrior flow yoga-weather permitting.

Located just a few blocks from famous Fifth Avenue, you’ll be surrounded by excellent cafĂ©s, restaurants, and retail, with the beach only blocks away. With everything at your fingertips, our condo offers the perfect blend of comfort, location, and laid-back Caribbean living.

We had a very pleasant stay at this well appointed apartment. The host was very responsive and his helper very attentive. The location is ideal for walking to shops, restaurants and beach. It is on the top floor up a very steep stairwell. We would stay here again.

Guests should know that Gene is a welcoming and passionate host who truly enjoys creating a positive, healthy environment for visitors. He grew up in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and brings that laid-back island energy into everything he does. Gene is a licensed yoga instructor and highly experienced martial artist, holding four black belts in Karate, Chinese Goju, Tae Kwon Do, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with additional training in Muay Thai kickboxing. Weather permitting, he offers yoga and breathwork classes on the rooftop, featuring Vinyasa Flow and Warrior Flow styles.

Gene also has a big heart—he lives on-site caring for his 88-year-old mother and adores his tiny 4 lb Morkie. He understands that pets are family and allows dogs up to 18 lbs with an additional fee. His goal is to make guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and supported while enjoying everything Casa Agave and Playa del Carmen have to offer.

We love being surrounded by neighborhood coffee shops, cafĂ©s, breakfast spots, supermarkets, and everyday essentials, all while avoiding the constant crowds and noise of more tourist-heavy streets.

One of our favorite aspects is how walkable and active the area is. We’re just a few blocks from Fifth Avenue and the beach, and only one block from the Deportivo Mario Villanueva Madrid outdoor sports complex, which offers tennis courts, jogging paths, fitness areas, and community classes. It’s a neighborhood where locals live, exercise, and gather, giving guests a genuine sense of Playa del Carmen life.

The calm streets, friendly energy, and central location make it easy to relax while still being close to the best dining, shopping, beaches, and nightlife. For us, it’s the ideal place to enjoy laid-back Caribbean living with all the comforts and experiences right at your fingertips.
