Appartement très confortable, bien situé, petite boulangerie à 15 seconde de l'appartement mais sécheuse ne fonctionne pas

Room ok, BUT…if you need more than 4 hours of sleep a night…LOOK ELSEWHERE! The obnoxious rumbling and sound vibrations from trains beneath and throughout this building is insane! Forced to listen to this starting 4 or 5am through midnight or later wasn’t my idea of a pleasant visit…PERIOD, especially paying this amount for the room. Owner needs to step up and be honest about this in VRBO.

Mostly good

Nice location. Check-in was a little confusing and the people manning the hotel desk, which is responsible for managing this apartment rental, didn't seem to understand who I was or why I was in their lobby. The property was very nice, no complaints. I did not hear from Vrbo or anyone associated with the apartment after I arrived. No contact, no asking about my experience or if I needed any assistance. This may be because the hotel manages this property and they have no interest in or resource for interacting with apartment guests. Breakfast each morning at the hotel was a real plus.

A cute apartment in a fabulous location

The location of the apartment was excellent. And, the bed was amazingly comfortable. However, the kitchen was dirty when we arrived, including a used take-out food container in the cupboard. Communication with hotel that provided keys was also problematic. We needed two swipe cards. The clerk who gave them didn't know how to set two and kept reseting so only one worked at a time. We had to figure out the problem. We also lost internet, tv and phone service for several hours. It was also difficult to get fixed. We told the hotel clerk and they said we had to contact the owner. The owner told us to contact the hotel. It was eventually fixed but took about 5 hours to straighten out.

No cleaning, no maintenance, little hot water.

This place is not cleaned properly and not maintained. I was here a whole week, as a holiday, and no cleaner ever came, despite asking. There were so many things wrong that it impossible to list. It is disgracefully over-priced. I paid what I would for a Brussels 4 star hotel yet it is run like a third world back-packers. Hot water appeared to be rationed because my shower went suddenly cold after precisely 12 minutes every day for my seven days - you could set a stop-watch by it. The room heating would not adjust from what felt like about 16 degrees - this is in January and it rained hard every day, so I could not warm up or dry out. Upon arrival, I was given the keys by the Dominican hotel and had been clearly told by email that they were my point of contact for any issue. Their directions were poor and it was hard to find the building as it was not marked, being a small side door amidst rubbish and graffiti. Upon entered the building it was dark and dank with a large pile of broken glass and it looked like a rough council block. The glass was only partly cleared two days later. The flats were not marked with any numbers and finding it was difficult. Inside, it looked superficially pleasant but smelt odd, yet was drafty and cold and nearly half of all lights did not work, meaning part of the studio flat was unusable, including the whole kitchenette area. The lights were only fixed after four trips to the Dominican reception, and much complaining, and eventually shouting. By then my week-long trip was half over, and once I had lighting I was able to see how bad the other problems were. The wooden floor was filthy, as was much of the kitchen. The microwave smelt of decaying food and was too high up to see inside. So I never used the kitchen. The safe was at floor height which made it unusable because you would have to lie down with your face against the dirty wooden floor to see the combination lock. The windows were a problem, the curtains were difficult, and and the whole room was drafty. I slept with a jumper on some nights. I gave up complaining to the Dominican because they just shrugged and said that was the deal - I was treated like a second class citizen, yet when I booked, I could have stayed in the Dominican hotel itself for approx 10 % less cost. It was a high price to pay for a bit of extra space. Ultimately the price was my holiday which was badly impacted by all this- it was meant to be relaxing. Never again.

Great location

This apartment is only a couple of blocks away from the Grand Place and busy shopping street Rue Neuve. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean and updated. The person who checked us in at the Dominican couldn’t have been nicer.

Prima verblijf in hartje Brussel, gelieerd aan prachtig Hotel met wellness

Ondanks feit dat de kamer niet bleek schoongemaakt toen wij ingecheckt hadden werd dit snel opgelost en goed gemaakt met gratis drankje aan de bar van het hotel Dominican. Verder prima verblijf, voldoende handdoeken en er lag op dag 2 vers fruit. Boeken van sauna in hetzelfde hotel verliep ook vlot, heerlijke aanvulling aan huren van dit appartement

Hôtel moderne cosy et chaleureux

Très bon séjour à l’hôtel et non en appartement suite à un surclassement Très mauvaise insonorisation des chambres : bruit du couloir et des ébats sexuels de la chambre voisine ! Et du bar de la rue Salon et bar magnifiques Très bon emplacement
