Travelers beware. The property does not have a hot tub. Check in started out rough. I never received check in instructions, so before leaving my house, I sent a message to the host. I traveled over 2 hours and arrived at the property. Checked for a response, and received none. I called the host at the number and he said he did not even know I rented the property, even though I paid for it 3 months in advanced through VRBO. He then had to verify I rented the property. He provided a code to get into the house, but it did not work. He had to provide a second code which finally worked. He told me on the phone the previous renters broke the bunk beds for the children, which I needed, and that he put the mattress in the closet because the people renting after me did not need the bunk beds. I will say he did fix the bunk beds the next morning. I also told him the back sliding glass door does not lock, and when he fixed the bunk beds, he put a security bar on the door. I walked through the house with him on the phone and did not see a hot tub, which is advertised as being one. He told me the normal garden tub in the master bathroom is the hot tub. When told it was not a hot tub, he said he has not got around to buying a hot tub. After disconnecting with him, and utilizing the property, the fridge does not keep things cold, the garbage disposal does not work, the patio furniture was torn and falling through.

The home was very clean. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. As previously stated, the house lacks some general accommodations like barstools at the kitchen island, coffee table. The kitchen needs a colander and pots are missing lids. No wash cloths, bathmats or pool towels. Primary bedroom tv was glitchy and didn’t really work. No tv in the other “adult” bedroom. Check in email from host was incomplete and took a couple reply emails to get all the details, but we got them. Biggest complaint was the sliding glass door to pool was broken and did not latch/lock. The security bar was also broken. Effectively, we could not lock the home up at night or while away. I email and text the owner the situation and never received a reply our entire stay. I had to utilized a temporary alternative method to shore up the door from being opened during our stay. Overall the location was convenient and the neighborhood was quiet. Otherwise our stay was just very average.

Pools screens were ripped and the lawn was overgrown and messy! They need a blind on the master bedroom to the pool. You can see the road! It could use stools for the island . More seating! Coffee table? Needs more tables in great room? One small end table for two couches! It could be so much better!
