What a beautiful, bright, clean, comfortable house! Our host was responsive and helpful, the communication with her was great. The house is in a quiet urban residential neighborhood, with a coffee shop, pizzeria, several breweries, and a bottle shop within easy walking distance. There's a park with a playground a few blocks away as well. There's convenient off-street parking, even.Everything about the house is nice, but I thought I'd also mention that if you're a tall person, you will be thrilled with the bathrooms! The whole house has high ceilings, and in the bathrooms those are used to the fullest. If you're over 6', you won't have to duck to rinse off the shampoo. You won't have to bend down to see yourself in the mirror. You won't be able to see over the shower curtain or worry about water splashing over it. (I'm not tall, but my brother is, and I've heard all the stories.) Don't worry, it's comfortable for those of us in the lower 5' range as well!All in all, an excellent place to stay in the Ballard area. If we need to come back, we'd definitely stay here again!

Thoughtfully designed to maximize space, comfort, and privacy, this is a wonderful getaway in Ballard / West Woodland. It worked well for our family of four (including two teens, one on the pullout couch) and -- unexpectedly -- our dog, who Bella kindly accommodated last-minute when other plans fell through. We were able to walk and Lyft to whatever we needed, enjoyed exploring the Ballard area, and had a comfortable respite in this two-bedroom, two-bathroom house!
