Perfect base for trip to Mexico

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Kevin's wonderful apartment. Everything was as explained on the listing and the hospitality pages. The apartment is very comfortable with unbelievable views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The complex is secure and well maintained. We look forward to a future visit and the chance to explore this region more in the future.

Beautiful condo at a reasonable price

My husband and I stayed for 2 months this summer. It was heavenly being able to hear the ocean surf all day and night. The views from the wrap around balcony are incredible. We cooked on the grill many evenings and enjoyed colorful sunsets while eating or sharing some of the excellent local wines. Staying for 2 months was well spent getting to know Rosarito and the many wonderful restaurants, friendly people and glorious weather. We hope to return 3-4 times each year, for shorter stays.

Bed bugs & mosquitoes

We ended our trip covered in bug bites!! The main bedroom closet was infested with bugs that looked like mosquitoes. We contacted the hosts but did not receive a response ever, had to reach out to vrbo customer service but still no resolutions. No screens on the sliding doors and the AC does not work all that well. Lighting was sort of dim. Old and worn outdoor seating. Beautiful views of the ocean though!

We are very surprised by this review, as it does not accurately reflect our condo or our communication. We did, in fact, respond to the guests directly, but they did not reply to us. To clarify: • There have never been issues with bed bugs or mosquitoes in our condo. We personally were present in the unit a few days before their arrival, following a guest who had been there for 30 days without a single complaint. • The guests did not notify us of any issues until the evening before they had left. Also, the guests themselves acknowledged in writing to us that they had not experienced bed bugs, yet reported otherwise to VRBO. • Our unit does not advertise air conditioning, so the comment that it "does not work" is incorrect. • There are screens on the sliding doors, so we are unsure what is being referenced in the review. We take great pride in maintaining our condo and providing an excellent guest experience and have never had any issues in the last 20 years that we have been renting our condo. Unfortunately, this review contains several inaccuracies and is not an honest account of the situation.

Great Views inside and out!!! Condo is very spacious and has everything required for your stay.

Kevin did a great job selecting his condo. A condo on the west coast in California would be priced at 4 to 5 thousand dollars per month. The weather was nice with a few overcast days. The beach was easy walking distance. Kevin provided a BBQ propane grill on the deck for steaks, ribs and a high table with cushions for enjoying the deck. Restaurants were walking and driving distance from the condo. His choice of furniture was great and provided the Palm Theme throughout. You won't find a better bed in the master bedroom (Loved It). Washer/Dryer was a great addition and easy to use. Directv was nice and provided a dvd player for your own movies. The three pools were directly below the deck and they also provided fantastic views. Workout room was at the bottom level with a view. Check In and out was simple. We also met others that reside at Las Palmas. They were very nice and provided information on the surrounding areas. We had a fantastic time and we owe it all to Kevin. Thanks Kevin!!!

Awesome and Peaceful

We feel blessed to have been able to stay one month at this peaceful and beautiful condominium. Being lulled to sleep each evening by the waves and waking up to the coolness in the morning was a stark contrast to our 110* days in Arizona! By the end of the first week.. we were pros at catching the bus or walking to our favorite quaint little cafes. The condo has all the comforts of home and more! We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Kevin.

Wonderful property with excellent views

The family really enjoyed staying here. The views of the ocean and up and down the coastline were wonderful. The condo had everything we needed with a full kitchen, plenty of seating, DirecTV. Did I mention the views? The wrap-around patio was very nice to sit and watch in listen to the waves crashing below. The condo is conveniently located less than ten minutes from downtown Rosarito, 15 minutes from Puerto Nuevo, and less than an hour from Ensenada.

Worth Every Penny!!!

Stayed 5 days and wish it could have been much longer. The condo was absolutely beautiful and the ocean views from every room were spectacular. Sleeping with the sliding door open sounds like your bed is right on the sand. The building staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend at least one meal at Tampanco restaurant right down the street. Good food, good service and romantic atmosphere. The property owner (Kevin) was extremely responsive any time we had a question and very friendly. We've stayed other places in Baja and ended up anxious to get home, but I could have stayed at this place forever!

AMAZING!

My boyfriend and I lived here for almost a full year while he was working in Rosarito. I have seen many condos in Rosarito and none of them come close to being as nice as this one. The owners have anticipated every need someone might have, and really all you need to bring is your toothbrush and some clothes! Both bedrooms have breathtaking views, and the condo is so close to the water that you can hear every wave crashing on the shore. The entire condo has upgraded appliances, counter tops, and flooring. The patio stretches around three of the four sides of the condo, and is absolutely incredible. The entire condo is spacious and very luxurious. The decor is sophisticated and comfortable. The beds are so comfortable that after playing on the beach just outside it felt like falling into a cloud to go to sleep! My favorite part, though, was the bath tub in the master bathroom. The jacuzzi tub has a beautiful view of the ocean, particularly at sunset. The Las Palmas property is also beautiful with 3 pools, 4 hot tubs, and an impressive fitness facility. The condo is a short cab or bus ride from downtown. I will definitely be back and be bringing my family and friends for some weekend getaways!
