Stay at Harry's Cottage, a peaceful 2 bedroom 1 bath at Gahr Farm Nature Reserve
Harryâs cottage is nestled in the upland prairie with gigantic white oaks as a backdrop. Enjoy spacious views of the countryside from the front porch or back deck. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom and twin beds in the spare bedroom. Relax in your own private cottage with a superb view of the countryside. This comfortable small home has a large fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer and all the necessary amenities for up to 4 guest.
The space
Gahr Farm Nature Reserve spans hundreds of acres with expansive views of beautiful Muddy Valley. For outdoor enjoyment there are miles of trails through forests and meadows, along streams and wetlands, where native plants & wildlife are abound.
Guest access
Complete home with access to miles of hiking trails of nature reserve. Bring hiking boots and tall socks in the summer or tall rubber boots in the wetter months. Be prepared with a camera to capture the wildlife and scenery.

Hi, we're the Gahr Family! Tim, Jenny, Ben and Lily. We have been operating Gahr Farm Cottages since 2015. We live on the 350 acre nature reserve and take pride in our family business down to the details.
We have two Cottages available to book year round that we maintain ourselves; each with its own unique experience. We love living the farm life with simple pleasures like eating fresh eggs, homemade bread, and seasonal foods we grow ourselves. We are an active family that enjoys exploring the woods with many trails surrounding the property that have stunning views of the valley at every corner.
We are happy that we can invite others to come and enjoy this front row to nature experience with us.
