Cabine récemment remodelée et mise à jour, 2 chambres avec lits queen size, 1 salle de bain, poêle à bois avec chauffage central, barbecue à gaz, Internet WIFI haut débit, câble avec Netflix, stéréo surround, DVD. Appareils électroménagers améliorés, nouvelle laveuse et sécheuse, la chambre principale est nouvellement meublée et dispose d'un matelas de choix du médecin, avec une literie améliorée. Prenez votre café du matin sur le pont ou dans la véranda. La propriété de la cabane est bordée par la forêt nationale, idéale pour la randonnée, le VTT, le ski de fond et la raquette. Vous pouvez également pratiquer le ski alpin et nordique à 15 minutes à Eldora Ski Resort. Des casinos, un spa, des restaurants, une épicerie de ski et un centre de loisirs Gilpin Co nouvellement construit avec une piscine pour la nage en longueur, une piscine séparée pour enfants avec toboggan et une salle de sport, ainsi qu'un étang de patinage sont à une courte distance en voiture. Situé à 1,6 km de la cabine, le bar et restaurant «Roy's Last Shot» propose un menu complet, des tables de billard, une terrasse extérieure et est adapté aux enfants et aux chiens. Les liqueurs du Mid County sont situées à côté. Belle vue à proximité, entourée de forêt nationale. There are some simple things that make our time away more meaningful. Things like the sound of the birds, the smell of the trees in the morning, the excitement of looking out of the window and not being exactly sure of what you will see. All of that and much more can be found here. This cabin has everything you need to unplug and to enjoy a simpler life. Donna is a professional and made every step so easy, from the second we made our reservation. My daughter and I stayed for a long weekend in May, and we have already talked about when we plan on coming back. Thank you for the wonderful memories; we did not expect so much of what we enjoyed.

This is our 4th stay at the Dancing Bear cabin. The place is very spacious. The new expanded deck is a great place to hang out. The area is very quiet. The host is so accommodating and on 2 occasions we have extended our stay. If gambling fan Black Hawk and Central City is just a brief 20-minute drive. We always go into Nederland for shopping etc. It's the same 20-minute drive. Great wood burning fireplace for cool nights. One minor note baking pan needs to be replaced.

Wow, thank you for the nice review. It makes me want to stay at my own cabin. Every time I see your name on my reservations it makes me happy. And please next time your there please reach out to me if something needs to be replaced I would have shipped the pan to you overnight.

The hosts were very accommodating and the cabin was well equipped with everything needed for a wonderful family holiday and for potential long-term stay. The location was beautiful with the national forest right out the back sliding glass door!! There were a magical trails all around behind the house. We really went to play in the snow, but I could see enjoying four seasons at this beautiful little cabin.

We have stayed here for the second time and hope we will be back in a couple years with another group of grandkids. The location is a perfect gateway for exploring less busy parts of the Rockies. It is quiet and not far from trailheads and little towns with beautiful restaurants and attractions. The cabin is perfect for a family with everything one needs for an enjoyable stay. I especially loved sitting on the porch and watching birds visiting the feeders. The hosts are wonderful!

We had a wonderful week at Don & Donna’s cabin. It was so peaceful & relaxing, just what we needed. The kitchen is very well stocked. We hiked everyday in the woods right out the back door. Our dogs thought they were in heaven! We will definitely be return renters! And Donna was super responsive to all our questions! Highly recommend staying here if you want to get away!

My daughter and I really enjoyed staying here. The location is beautiful and the cabin had all the amenities we needed. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Don, born and raised in Colorado married Donna, a New York Native over 38 years ago. Don has enjoyed the cabin since childhood, hiking, biking, skiing, hunting, fishing, mountain climbing and exploring with his parents. We found a trail behind the cabin where a covered wagon had once tipped over. To this day old glass bottles can still be dug up at this site. The trail opens to a large meadow and bubbling stream.

A family jewell passed on, now for others to enjoy as well, Colorado history abounds the area. It is near Peak to Peak highway which has the most beautiful sights available on the front range

A huge plus is the the back door leads onto Roosevelt National Forest. Hiking & mountain biking trails are feet away to springs and nearby river. No reservations, no crowds. Wildlife prevails in the area: moose, dear and elk are common. Ghost towns surround the area, and are a short drive away.
