This was this worst property I've ever stayed in with VRBO. The overall experience was terrible. We checked into the house to find roaches in the downstairs bathroom and bugs in the downstairs bed. I immediately alerted the host who offered no resolution. It's worth mentioning, the host has no functional phone number. The only way to communicate is via the chat in VRBO. The next morning, a man walked into the house while our family was showering, getting ready, etc. No one alerted us that someone was coming, and this man never knocked. He unlocked the door and walked in. He didn't speak English but called someone who did. That person told me that they were told no one was in the property. I called VRBO who was unable to get in touch with the host. It took 2 days of back and forth with VRBO who finally offered to find us another property because the hose never responded and never addressed the bug problem. We ended up cutting our vacation short and left a day early because the house was so bad and we decided to simply go home instead of packing up and moving properties. That room remained unusable for the entire trip. They never offered to have the maids come and change the sheets, clean the house or anything at all for that matter. I would avoid this property at all costs. I would additionally avoid any properties managed by Holistays.
