S'il vous plaît profiter de notre authentique Old Virginia Hand Hewn Log Home situé à Northlake Resort, Canaan Valley WV. Nous offrons une valeur exceptionnelle plus un lac d'eau profonde de 11 acres avec une excellente pêche à la pêche avec remise à l'eau (sans moteur). Aucun permis de pêche requis. Les clients ont accès au lac, à un petit étang, à un quai, à un sentier autour du lac et à un ensemble de jeux haut de gamme. Il y a aussi un abri de 40 par 60 pieds disponible avec barbecue et immense foyer en pierre. Ou tout simplement traîner dans notre bain à remous extérieur situé sur un pont enveloppant de 1500 pieds carrés OU à l'intérieur avec notre climatisation centrale. Situé à seulement 3, 5 miles au sud de Davis WV et 5-6 miles des stations de ski.

The Cabin was very cozy, and we enjoyed all the walking paths by the house and the neighborhood, just far enough away from a town that makes it easy to pop in to get stuff but also far enough to enjoy the starts at night.

We’ve stayed in a lot of houses in Davis and other local ski/mtn areas; this house was the best. It’s incredibly well appointed and maintained. It feels like you’re staying in someone else’s home, not a vacation rental. From the furniture to the kitchen tools to the many cozy blankets, it’s just lovely. And the owner is very accommodating as well. It’s 10-15 minutes from Timberline and even when there is a lot of snow, it’s easily accessible. We would and hopefully will come back to this home.

Fantastic place to stay during a big snow and weekend of skiing!

We had a fantastic stay at the rental! The spacious layout provided ample room, and its convenient location near ski resorts was a highlight. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace, well-stocked kitchen, air hockey table, hot tub, and a variety of board games. The abundance of snow we got over the weekend added to the charm, making it a perfect retreat for a memorable getaway!

The log cabin was the perfect place for a perfect family vacation. It was well stocked, very clean, comfortable, and offered plenty of space for many activities. The wrap-around porch was a treasure. The area was quiet, the lake was inviting, and I can't say enough about the view of the night sky -- simply beautiful. We loved it and hope that we can do it again in the future. Great cabin for family vacation

Perfectly located cabin in Canaan Valley with easy access to many outdoor adventures. Space was more than enough for our 8 adults and 2 children. Well stocked kitchen, clean and comfortable living and bedroom space. Great communication with owners.

Fantastic cabin

Our stay at the Cabin was fantastic- We had 3 generations enjoying skiing and hiking in the area. The hot tub was a plus:) The kitchen had everything we needed, and more. House was very clean and communication with the owners was quick and helpful.

Great time

Great fishing giant bluegills bass were smaller but a ton of them and very aggressive my whole family caught tons of fish every day and the walks around the lake and property were great same as Blackwater falls and the little town of Davis people were very friendly.

Family winter weekend

Stayed at this home for a long holiday weekend with my large family (2 adults and 6 kids). Spacious for large groups yet very cozy. Close to everything. Very clean and well decorated. I highly recommend staying in this home, and I certainly will rent again for a future trip if available.

Perfect Getaway!

Our stay at the cabin was perfect! The house was pristine.....clean, spacious, full of everything the 10 of us needed, and great location! The wrap around porch was nice to sit and enjoy our morning coffee and played corn hole on it in the evening. We were able to walk our paddle boards and fishing equipment to the lake. 5 minutes to the town for shopping, dinner, and drinks. Will definitely come back.

Great Cabin for a Relaxing Stay

The pictures do not do this place justice. The view from the cabin was great, and everything was well kept. The neighborhood was quite nice as well. The central location of the cabin also made it convenient for visits to Thomas and Davis, as well as Canaan Valley.One thing I would note is that you need to bring your own sheets. I do not believe the listing mentions that, but everything else was as described and the owner was very cordial.

Very well kept cabin with plenty of space and a great location in the center of all outdoor activities and close to the town of Davis as well. The host went above and beyond to set up a recording on YouTube TV for me (The Masters!) in case we arrived late. Thank you Cy!

Location, location, location! We chose this property because Northlake Resort has so much more to offer than just skiing and is truly a multi-seasonal destination. In fact, the winter season (180 inches of snow annually) is awesome but where we really excel are the summer and fall months because all guests have access to our lake and other common areas located within our 80 acres.
