Super chalet de vacances en famille! Quartier charmant!

À propos de cette maison: La maison de style cottage, Ă  deux Ă©tages, avec 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain, se trouve dans une belle communautĂ© tranquille - Ă  quelques pas de la plage! Super endroit pour les enfants !!! Le dĂ©veloppement est le long du canal Assawoman avec un accĂšs direct et une rampe de mise Ă  l'eau. Poissons et crabes dans les baies nord et sud! L'unitĂ© comprend 8 vĂ©los et 4 kayaks!
La chambre principale est au premier niveau ainsi que la cuisine-salle à manger et le salon ouvert. Juste en haut des escaliers se trouvent deux grandes chambres supplémentaires et une salle de bain complÚte lumineuse. Ceci est une unité d'extrémité avec une grande terrasse ombragée et beaucoup d'intimité.

Comprend l'utilisation de 8 vélos, 2 kayaks, chaises de plage, jouets de plage!

Climatisation centrale, cuisine bien équipée, laveuse, sécheuse-tous les nouveaux appareils. Parking: 3, sous la maison.
Extras: 4 téléviseurs avec DVD / Blue Ray. Douche extérieure, grande terrasse au deuxiÚme étage et immense table de pique-nique au niveau du sol avec un grand nouveau gril à gaz *****
Remarque: nous louons à la semaine pendant l'été. La location du vendredi au vendredi vous aide à éviter la circulation et à profiter du week-end!
Il s'agit d'une communauté familiale, nous ne louons donc pas à des groupes de moins de 28 ans.

Great house, amenities and location! The house was exactly as described and perfect for a beach vacation. Plenty of room and very clean in a quiet community. Bethany Boardwalk and beach were a short (5 min) drive away. Bikes were enjoyed by kids and adults - thank you for the wonderful stay!

The property was clean and had everything our family of 5 needed. I especially enjoyed the good quality appliances and well-stocked kitchen. David and Irena were readily available to help us solve any issues that arose. We plan to stay here again.

Excellent communication from owner. He was very responsive and helpful. House appeared to be very clean. Neighborhood is quiet and well kept. Bikes/Kayaks are readily acceptable, but the kayaks will need to be rinsed off and we needed to put air in a couple of bike tires. Pump was in the closet. Kayak ramp entrance is in neighborhood, so it was easily accessible. You can definitely bike to beach from here, but it is a longer walk. We were able to find parking easily at different beach entrance points, but best to get there before 10am. Porta potties were by each beach entrance.House was definitely clean, but a bit more dated than we expected. Kitchen area could use an update with better cabinets and supplies/dishes/pans. Updating the sinks/mirrors in the bathrooms would be a worthwhile improvement. Maybe rugs by or under the beds in the bedrooms. I hate stepping onto a bare floor, but that's just me. The house is on stilts, and you can occasionally feel house movement when someone is walking around. You mainly feel it when you are lying in bed, but once you know it's there and what it is, it's not a major deal. It initially startled my daughters who slept upstairs, so just be aware. Not a ton of room for a lot of people in the living room/kitchen area, but the house sleeps a lot of people and has many beds at a good price.

Just what we needed...

We were happy to find this property for a few nights. My husband, my daughter, a few college friends, and me found plenty of room in this three bedroom home. And having a master suite downstairs and the additional two rooms upstairs gave us all the privacy we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with everything, including pots, pans, a blender, and cookie sheets. Pretty easy to get to the beach: my husband would drop the beach stuff off with me in the morning and he (and later the girls) biked over. If you're a walker like me, there's a walkable neighborhood across the street from the property's entrance (Black Gum Dr.). Having canoes, as well as access to the canal steps away, was a bonus -- something different to do on vacation. I recommend this property to families with kids of all ages.

Amazing stay

I love everything about this place. The location, the decor, the amenities...Definitely great for family and friends. We love having bikes and beach equipment available for us. It is such a lovely touch. The only thing I noticed is the house moves a little bit since it is a stilt house. I am not used to it and thought there is an earthquake, haha. Otherwise, we have all amazing things to say, and the owner of the house is awesome and very helpful.

Beach stay with the masses.

The house was clean and quiet. The bikes were rusted beyond use and the kayaks were full of spiders, mosquitoes and not near the water. So we were unable to use either.

Nice vacation home

Great location, good for large families

We loved our stay! Six minute drive to Bethany Beach Boardwalk, we made good use of the provided beach chairs. Also had fun kayaking in the nearby canal. Friendly, quiet neighborhood with some good places to walk dogs. One note - the front door doesn’t lock from the inside. We have little ones so we blocked them from opening the door by dragging a chair over to it. We didn’t take the trolley but there was a stop in the next neighborhood over. Lots of bikes included, so this would also be great for a group of friends in their 30s who are want to be close to the beach but don’t want to be around loud parties.

Good Time

Reminded me of good times on past vacations. So happy to have a great place to spend time with my family. The neighborhood is small and friendly and the house is cute with a well equped kitchen and working grill. Found that Fenwick State Park was the best bet for going to the beach--didn't want to walk on the highway with the children. Kids loved kayaking, playing games, and eating crab at a nearby restaurant.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Quiet and peaceful yet close to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and shops. Everything is a short bicycle ride away but you have the seclusion and safety of a small, private development. For kayaking and small boating enthusiasts, the development borders the Assawoman canal and has a boat launch. The canal has been dredged and you can reach the bays both north and south. Excellent crabbing and fishing! There is also a large Wildlife sanctuary you can boat and by foot.

Our house is very private , quiet and relaxing. The beach and downtown Bethany are just a short bike ride away. We include 6 adult size bicycles for your use. Our development also adjoins the canal which connects bays north and south. Two kayaks are provided to explore the beautiful waterways and the large adjoining wildlife areas.
