Le condo # 107 de Makani Sands est un appartement d'une chambre au premier étage où vous pouvez vous promener sur l'herbe et sur la plage. Cette unité a été récemment rénovée (automne 2011), vous assurant ainsi de profiter des derniers hébergements à Maui. La véranda côté océan du salon est parfaite pour regarder le coucher de soleil sur nos îles voisines! Ce condo a une cuisine complète avec de nouveaux appareils, y compris un lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes et tous les appareils nécessaires. Il y a un lit king dans la chambre et un canapé-lit dans le salon pour une personne supplémentaire. Deux téléviseurs, lecteur DVD et CD pour votre plaisir. The views!!!

The condo was very beautiful! Very clean and well kept. The view right outside the door is unbeatable. Loved being on the first floor and being able to just go relax by the beach. Would definitely be back again.

Better than an expensive resort!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Makani Sands with a toddler. It is conveniently located near restaurants and grocery. Being able to cook our breakfast and doing laundry wasn't something one would expect, but having that flexibility with a toddler is something I was glad about. They provide beach chair, cooler bags, sun hats, beach ball, beach towels etc, so you wouldn't have to worry about bringing those. The benefit of access to the beach privately was something I realized after I left the place. I wish I could go back and soak in more of it. Definitely staying here when we are back in Maui.

Sand and surf were right outside our door and we were able to walk to restaurants, stores and farmers market. It would have been nice to have air conditioning in at least the bedroom as it was very hot. The management staff was very helpful and always available. Great Unit, Great Stay

We stayed with with 2 kids and it was great for them to just walk out and play and see turtles, etc. The pool could be resurfaced but spent most of our time in the beach. It was pretty high tide most of the time so little to know beach but the water was great and the kids loved it. Good location for your stay in Maui, close to many great beaches and hikes. We loved it!

Outstanding Location Minus the Burt poop on the patio

Only issue is the person on the 3rd floor feeds pidgin a couple times a day & the birds **** all over the Lanai & furniture. We asked her to feed the birds elsewhere but no. They live and sleep above 107. We cleaned the poop daily to have it return everyday.

Hearing AND seeing the surf, swimming in the ocean right off your front lawn and enjoying the pool daily is just the beginning of enjoying this property. Tammy & Debbie from the Front Office are just wonderful from booking and throughout your visit and always very helpful. The location is perfect to get to anywhere you would like in the Lahaina area with shops and stores close by for groceries, restaurants and gas. There is even a local beach down the road for young families.Breakfast on your own lanai and evening sunsets can't be beat. We'll be back!

Amazing and welcoming stay

Tammy made the arrangements so easy and communicating with her was a charm. Upon our arrival in Maui, we had planned to stay in Kihei for a period before heading to Honolowai and when those plans didn’t turn out as we’d hoped we reached out to Tammy who helped us make arrangements to book into Makani. She made it all so easy. We felt so welcome. The condo was wonderful. The unit was fabulous. A/C would have been nice but we understand that the price would have been different. The fans worked well and all in all we were delighted.

Lovely condo, fantastic view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What can we say other than glowing remarks about our stay at the Makani Sands Condo #107? The place was exactly as advertised, it was a very fair price, easy to find, in a fantastic location and perfect for our needs. The upgraded bathroom (nice shower), laundry facilities, newer appliances and ground floor location were all big pluses for us. The condo was clean, everything worked and was well maintained. The office manager was very friendly. Parking was a little tight but there was always space. I don't know if the spouting and breaching whales and the tons of rainbows out in the ocean are special for this condo... but they were also incredible amenities. I would stay here again. It was tough to leave. Thanks for hosting us in this property.

Return to Paradise

We arrived before the virus had hit America and had to leave earlier than anticipated due to Pandemic. The condo had everything we needed, fully stocked kitchen utensils, washer/dryer/detergent and tp! Property manager, Tammy was friendly, tremendously helpful and beyond accommodating throughout our entire stay. She helped us feel safe and secure. We were treated to amazing sunsets, whale tails, spouts and breaching daily, right from our lanai! Very warm nights this year but plenty of ceiling and standing fans, condo always comfortable and we loved the new doors and windows. Comfortable furniture on lanai and sea wall chairs fully used and appreciated. Condo in great location, walking to groceries and restaurants, bus stop right at Makani and ocean front! This virus will past and we will return to #107!

Reviewer Comments: The overall experience was great, however I did not appreciate the board President harassing my family and the two other families we brought to the Makani Sands. An example of this harassment is one evening we were eating dinner at our condo #107 and were eating with our friends who were staying on the 3rd floor. We borrowed the unused tables and chairs from the BBQ area to accommodate 14 people and were told that this was not acceptable, even though they were not being used and that we returned them exactly the way they were. The Board president even had the audacity to take pictures of us eating from the balcony of her third floor condo. This is ridiculous and really disheartening. I have been at numerous other condos in the surrounding area and have never been addressed in such a manner. If this is all this woman has to do then she really has too much time on her hands! I would be more than happy to discuss this matter with her or other board members as this left a poor taste in my mouth. Kevin Gorham
