The hosts went out out of their way to accommodate our needs. They even allowed us to access the property well before the check-in time to accommodate overnight travelers to go to bed upon their arrival. Throughout our stay they offered us help in any way possible

Beautiful place and very spacious home. Rooms were great and 5 separate bathrooms gave us all our own space. But the best part of this property was the Hosts! Lee and Michelle are amazing and super friendly. Lee came down on our first day and made sure we had everything and let us know to context them if there was anything we didn’t have. Michelle was also super helpful and went above and beyond helping us. SUPER AWESOME PLACE AND HOST!!

Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes and utensils. Loved having two coffee pots and two refrigerators with our big crowd of hosting a reunion of 23 people. Lots of great space under covered patio with 3 picnic tables. The host also set up two large round tables with 16 chairs that we all sat around.

We stayed 3 nights and had a fantastic stay. The house is excellent for anyone needing handicap accessible areas. The main accessible bathroom is the size of a small bedroom and there are no bumps to step or roll over. The kitchen is large and there are two large tables and a lot of chairs for a big group. The grounds are private and offer lots of activities. We will certainly be going back as we enjoyed Morgan’s Wonderland and SeaWorld during our stay. Thank you Lew for your hospitality!

Another Great Stay

We’ve been coming for years and always very pleased. There are a few basics missing in the kitchen (dry measuring cups) and knives are not sharp. Also, the dining room chairs really need the plastic tips on the legs so they don’t screech across the floor.

Family visit

The property was wonderful! Well maintained, the kitchen was well stocked and set up, bedrooms comfortable. Plenty of room for all of us and then some. Outdoor spaces were great for exploring and playing. I’d stay there again!

Great place for family reunion

Our family of 22 had a great stay. We originally booked this house with our handicapped aunt in mind, she wasn't able to make the trip with us but this would have been the perfect house for her. She would have been able to get around great in her wheelchair. The kids had a great time with all the porch and yard space. And the fishing, they caught (and released) so many fish. We made so many great memories here.

Spacious large house

This awesome house was very accommodating for our family gathering. Very clean and set up for the large group. But, even better, is the outside area - spacious covered patio and very large yard! We especially enjoyed fishing in the pond. The host was easy to reach and handle questions. Be aware that there is little internet so turn off your devices and enjoy the property!

Sibling/Spouse 2024 Reunion

Our family of 5 siblings and spouses stayed for a family reunion. We were here February 23-27, 2024. This was our first gathering outside of a funeral or wedding. The property was perfect! There was plenty of room for all of us. The dining table was awesome. We enjoyed several meals at the table as well as game night every evening. The patio was an awesome location to take group photos, early morning coffee watching the sunrise, reminiscing. We enjoyed sitting outside and visiting. The fire pit and dock were also a nice gathering place. The property set the bar for other VRBO locations!. Thank you for your kind southern hospitality! 2023 Adams Family Reunion

We have a large family and get together every few years. It's hard to find a place that will accommodate us. This was the perfect house, very clean, roomier than what shows in the pictures and plenty of parking. 13 stayed overnight at the house. Other family members got accommodations near by. We had an 80th birthday party for my sister. There were 32 of us there for that. Didn't feel crowded at all. It was the first time fishing for the kids. They each caught several fish. It was fun to watch them get so excited each time they caught one. We made s'mores and told ghost stories around the fire pit, played ping pong and volleyball. I asked 2 days before checkin if we could checkin early. It wasn't a problem at all. We are spread from California to Pennsylvania. Next time we're in Texas, this will be our house of choice. Justin and Richard are very pleasant and easy to work with. Enjoyed our stay!

Family Vacation

The house was just beautiful! It was even more than what we expected!! All of the family kept on saying what a wonderful house it was with all the bedrooms and bathrooms, and the large kitchen with the kitchen table to gather around. Great Property

There were 9 of us, 6 that has some disabilities. There were plenty of rooms to share and have space. The bathrooms were very nice especially the handicapped accessible ones with a shower chair. The kitchen was our hang out area or out on the patio area when it wasn’t too hot. We didn’t watch much tv. I would recommend anyone with a large group reserve this house.

Great for a family reunion

We had 11 adults and two children. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms. A nice big table in the kitchen where everyone could sit together. Great backyard! If I would add anything, it would be a couple more comfy chairs in the living room, as there are only two very nice couches and some wooden chairs.

Amazing house for large gatherings! They have everything you could ever want for any combination of ages. From fishing to ping pong to indoor or outdoor dining for lots of people, this is the place. We will definitely be back.

This was our second time renting this house and we were thrilled to stay again. From the ample sleeping and bathroom facilities to the outdoor amenities we were very pleased. The large kitchen and dining area helped facilitate all 22 of us!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This property is located in the countryside just east of San Antonio. I have a deep love for the friendly feel of the neighboring small towns just a few miles away. I definitely recommend attending either the Peanut Festival in Floresville (October) or the Bluebonnet Festival in La Vernia (May). Both towns are just a few miles away from the property. Both events feature a parade, carnival and live music. Of course, Downtown San Antonio isn't too shabby either. It is one of the most vibrant and culturally diverse cities in the country and this house is just a few minutes away from the downtown area. If you're going to be traveling here in April, don't miss out on your chance to be a part of Fiesta San Antonio, one of the largest and most exciting celebrations in the US. I personally think anyone who can, should make a trip out here just for that, its a blast!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Believe me, there is plenty to love about this home. A few of my favorite features are the well-fed pond located to the west of the property. It's great for catch and release fishing but that doesn't mean that you can't pass the time by just relaxing out on the dock during a nice cool day and enjoy a good book. The dock also has a shaded area for those 'not so cool' days which we happen to have a lot of here in Texas. Another feature I love about this house is the enormous patio that runs the length of the home. It's great for cookouts and entertaining family and friends. Another great feature is the large stone fireplace that is centered in the spacious living room. It really accentuates the rustic features of the house, one of those being the beautiful tile flooring that runs throughout the home. Okay, just one more thing that I absolutely love about this property is its location. I'm not a big city kind of person so I love how the property is tucked away in the countryside on the outskirts of downtown. It's nice and quiet and I love that. However, it's also just a hop, skip and jump away from the beautiful city of San Antonio and all of its many attractions, including the AT&T Center if you're looking to catch a Spurs game while you're here (which I highly recommend.)
