Maison du sud-ouest sur la rivière San Antonio

Non, nous ne sommes pas sur le RiverWalk mais nous avons plus d'un mile de façade sur la rivière San Antonio. Notre maison est située à la campagne, loin des bruits de la ville et de la congestion. Cependant, nous ne sommes qu'à 15 minutes du Riverwalk, de l'Alamo Dome, de l'Alamo, du SBC Center (domicile des Spurs de San Antonio), du Joe Freeman Coliseum et d'autres lieux et événements à San Antonio. Sea World et Fiesta Texas sont à seulement 30 minutes et Schlitterbaum, le parc aquatique n ° 1 en Amérique, à seulement une heure.

Nous sommes situés sur 110 acres avec plus d'un mile de façade sur la rivière San Antonio. Plusieurs belles zones ont été dégagées pour la pêche et / ou la baignade. La randonnée et le vélo ont été les favoris de beaucoup de ceux qui ont séjourné ici. Nous sommes à quelques minutes du rodéo qui se tient à San Antonio en février. Nous avons trouvé de nombreuses têtes de flèche et autres artefacts indiens sur notre propriété.

Jack et moi sommes heureux d'avoir des visiteurs à San Antonio dans notre maison. Veuillez lire l'histoire du propriétaire pour plus d'informations.

Il s'agit d'une grande maison spacieuse (4 200 pieds carrés) avec beaucoup d'espaces ouverts. Il y a une cour à l'avant de la maison, une terrasse à l'extérieur de deux des trois chambres et un grand porche arrière parfait avec une terrasse attenante pour cuisiner et se divertir. Un bain à remous est également accessible depuis 2 des 3 chambres.

La grande salle familiale dispose d'une télévision grand écran de 70 pouces avec son surround. Le grand salon dispose d'un canapé-lit et d'une grande télévision de 81 cm. La salle à manger pourra accueillir confortablement 20 à 22 personnes.

Nous avons besoin de 300 $. 00 dépôt de garantie à l'arrivée. Cela vous sera retourné dans les 7 jours si tout est laissé en bon état et qu'il n'y a aucun dommage. Nous avons également besoin de 100 $. 00 frais de nettoyage.

THIS is the San Antonio experience- sure there is the river walk but who needs it when you have private access to a mile of the San Antonio River! My husband and son enjoyed the river and i loved how nice it was to be able to walk down and fish- close to lakes for charter fishing and close to amenities yet far enough away- Highly recommend! The host was exceptional- communicated well- and thought of everything-we came as strangers and felt like family when we left- thank yal for everything!

We had a wonderful stay at Margaret and Jack's home. It was spacious, clean, well stocked, and felt just like home. Margaret was a great host! What a great get away

We stayed here with our 3 young children and had the best time. Margaret and Jack are wonderful hosts and take so much pride in their home. The property is amazing and we had a blast playing in the river, going on walks in the woods, and having a campfire. Easy to get into town but is a perfect country getaway. Thank you!

Fun stay at a unique property

The home was spacious and well-equipped for our large family. We loved exploring the grounds and playing in the river. The hosts were friendly and helpful--we could not have asked for a better stay.

Amazing property with great hospitality

We couldn't have asked for more. The owners are great people, and it's the best nature retreat ever. It was so peaceful, and the mostly wooded 100 acres along the river safe very accessible by well kept nice roads that you can walk or drive. Wonderful hiking and fishing experience, and spacious accommodations with so much to offer

Special stay

Nice place to enjoy the outdoors

Brought the family for a weekend away. Plenty of space for 10 people to hang out. Kids enjoyed playing in the river and there was lots of land to hike and check out the beauties of nature. Close to the city, so it was the right mix for our needs.

Relaxing Adult Weekend!!

We stayed at the property with 2 other couples, the house was everything we hoped for and the owners were great! The men really enjoyed chatting with Jack! The fishing was easily accessible but we didnt end up catching much. Overall a great property!!

Family & Friends with lots of littles

We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves because the home was like staying at a family home. Kitchen stocked for big meals, lots of property for the kids to explore without the worry of other people around, toys/games and toiletries I hadn’t expected to be there, but it was nice to have available. We felt welcome!

Beautiful home, awesome owners.

Had a great time during Fiesta. This was exactly what I was looking for, a spacious country home on a large piece of land a short drive from downtown San Antonio. One day your on the Riverwalk the next you walking on the river looking for arrowheads and fossils. I highly recommend this home!

Great family place

Margaret and Jack were amazing hosts and very helpful. The river is an easy walk to fish or swim. The house is very comfortable and has plenty of space. There are also many games and toys for the kids. My boys loved being out in the woods, but with that comes insects (ants, wasps, scorpions), but that didn’t deter us any. We loved this place and I would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Family Fun!

Margaret and Jack are the best. This house is a vacation within itself! So much to do and the kiddos loved it! We had access to tube the river, fish and the best part the kids ran around and explored! The house is warm and charming. We felt very welcomed! 5 Stars! We will definitely be back!!!

Amazing property

This was literally my dream home. The owners were very nice and accomodating. We were there for christmas with our family, and they left up their beautiful decorations for our family to enjoy. Beautiful Property

We loved our stay! We had plenty of room for our group of 6. This was just what I was looking for. It was great for me and my husband who love to fish, hike, and explore. It also worked well for our friends who don't enjoy nature as much. They were able to relax in the beautiful home or make a short 10 minute trip to town. Margaret and her husband were very welcoming and wonderful hosts. I look forward to coming back!

Great get away with the boys

The property is close enough to San Antonio tourist sites but far enough away to be in the country. The house is big enough to accommodate 12 people sleeping, officially. Margaret and Jack were perfect hosts. We hiked and explored the property. The boys rode their bikes, fished, and played in the river. It was a super laid back adventure. We loved it and plan on going back.

Jack and Margaret enjoy sharing their home with others. We are an elderly couple with 5 children and 14 grandchildren. We have both vaccinated for Covid-19 and we are extremely carefully about sanitizing our home before and after our guests come and go.

We actually live in the house. It is our home. However, when guests are here we stay in our master suite (a 4th bedroom). We have our own entrance to and from the house. We have our own bathroom and kitchen and do not need to share any of the rest of the house with our guests. We are here for you but we do not interfere with your activities at all. We love having families here.

Located on 110 acres with the San Antonio River as a border on one side, we are in the country yet only 8 miles from Brooks City Base where you find restraurants, shopping, banks, gas, hospital - everything you need.

We are within 25 minutes (more or less) of Lackland AFB and Ft. Sam Houston.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We are blessed with all kinds of wildlife. The Cardinals frequent our back yard. You can hear the Owls at dusk and the Peacock sounds off on a nightly basis. When walking the trails you might see squirrels, racoons, wild turkeys and wild hogs. The river provides a haven for ducks and has given up quite a bit of catfish, perch and bass.
