The pros: Location was perfect! Convenient to food and shopping. Steps from the beach. Condo was clean and had plenty of room for 4 adults and one child. Very nice having a community spot for chairs, boogie boards, and floats to be shared. Cons: Online listing and reviews did not mention the cosmetic attention this unit needed. Rusted shower curtain rod, chipped bathtubs, peeling paint, scuffs and knicks on walls, broken patio door lock, and bunkbeds so wobbly my child didn’t feel safe climbing on the top bunk.

The location of the condo was perfect. Views from the balcony are stunning. Disappointed in the condition of the condo as it needs new furniture throughout. The bunk beds need to be anchored for safety. There were no pot holders, no way to stop up the bath tubs for a bath as the stoppers were missing. We were given one towel per guest for the entire stay Our last night there was a power outage in the building and it was not restored by the time we checked out and food was thawing in freezer. When we called about the power no one was able to give us any answers as to what the issue was. We needed our blankets from home as the “bedspreads” appeared to be a gauze sheet. This unit has great potential and the complex is very nice.

I would be lying if I said this was perfect, but I do need to say that any and all issues that we had were promptly resolved. We enjoyed this location very much and we're overwhelmed by the professionalism and immediate responses when we did have issues. We stayed for six nights and it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend to anybody and everyone. We chose to get married on the beach and we could not have picked a better place to stay at for this occasion

Relaxing and comfortable

We really enjoyed staying here. It is on the end, and we had a great view from the balcony. Communication with the property manager was great. The location is good and close to everything from places to eat to shopping. We were unable to enjoy the pool because we had so much to do but it looks so relaxing and clean. We highly reccomend this property.

Great beach view

Great location with covered personal parking space. Beautiful view with easy access to the beach. Condo is overly cluttered. Sleeper sofa can't be used due to large coffee table and planter. Master bedroom needs pull chains added to ceiling fan. It's only on if the light is on.

Weekend trip with family

We had four in our party and stayed for the weekend. The location, view and size of the condo are fantastic. It could just use some major modernization. The front door lock needs to be reinforced (chain lock is broken) and the bunk beds are wobbly (we ended up not using them at all). The check in/out process and communication were great. I would consider staying here again if it was priced lower than more modern units of comparable size and location.

Beautiful Views! Rusty Tubs Awful

The views were outstanding! We liked the new kitchen and flooring - beautiful! The bathrooms were awful: rust on the tubs where white enamel should be and the shower curtain rod full of rust in two bathrooms. One bathroom sink was cracked in 3 places. Tubs, shower curtain rods and bathroom sinks need to be replaced. We felt duped by the photos. Very DISAPPOINTED and will not stay at a Vasaca Rental again.

Unit could use some improvements. Great location.

This is the 2nd unit we have stayed at at island royale after the 1st being excellent. This one was just much more outdated and not as kept up. Location was excellent as expected, easy check in process. And was even given the option to check out later in the day. Which was awesome. But as far as this exact unit. The furniture is outdated and cluttered. We were constantly moving chairs to get through out rooms. In the master bedroom there was barely enough room to walk between tv chest and bed. Tv was tiny but atleast it had one. In queen guest room there wasnt one at all. It may say that but ill always assume. So thats on me. Master shower was loud and screechy and dryer would randomly make loud noises. Room wasnt cleaned completely upon arrival but i made it aware and was quickly responded back to with and offer to send someone to clean. We had 2 adults, and 3 kids. 16, 12, and 10.

I would stay here again it was a great spot with a amazing view! We had some cleanliness issues but were resolved during our stay. We had everything we needed in the condo and plenty of space for everyone!

Great beachfront property, with a designated parking space undercover, & right next to the entry door & elevators. Very convenient! Love the area, close to everything, but very private. Great views.

The View Makes This Place!

We rented this unit for 3 weeks in December of 2023/January 2024. 2 adults stayed the entire 3 weeks. 4 adults stayed for 5 days. These 5 days were tight with 6 adults. When there were only 2 people, the spacing was fine. There are some really great things about this unit and some things that could use some changes. We loved the location, view, balcony, the new appliances, the fact that there were 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and the pool and hot tub. The two larger beds were very comfortable. Some things that could use improvement: the couches were really hard to get out of (old), the accessories were really dusty (especially the large, unnecessary plant), the lighting was not great, and the glass tables were not user friendly. The two twin beds were extremely uncomfortable and were not suitable for adults to sleep on. Overall, we would reccomend this place to any new visitor to Gulf Shores. It was easy to get in and out of, we felt very safe, and the view was amazing!!!
