Set on two private acres with uninterrupted views towards Mount Riddle, this light filled country retreat blends architectural heritage with contemporary comfort.

Sleeping up to eight adults across four bedrooms including a separate self contained studio, Sibbel House is ideal for families, couples or friends seeking space, privacy and connection. From the moment you arrive, the landscape and design create a sense of calm. This is a place to slow down, gather and enjoy the simple pleasures of good company and beautiful surroundings.

Located just minutes from Healesville Main Street, Healesville Sanctuary, renowned wineries and walking trails, you are perfectly positioned to explore the Yarra Valley while retreating to your own private sanctuary.

Design and Comfort

The original architectural layout has been carefully preserved, honouring the social spirit of the late 1960s. Generous living spaces invite conversation, shared meals and relaxed evenings.

North facing windows flood the home with natural light and frame sweeping valley views. Interiors are fully furnished with Zuster pieces, creating a layered, tactile environment of marble, timber and velvet.

The Bedrooms

All bedrooms include heating and cooling, underfloor heating in winter, sheer curtains, remote controlled block out blinds, 100 percent flax linen by Bed Threads and Zuster designer furnishings.

The Olive Martini

The master suite features a queen bed, walk in his and hers wardrobes and a private ensuite. It overlooks the sculptural cactus front garden and captures soft morning light.

The Whiskey Sour

A serene queen bedroom with built in wardrobes and views to the side cactus garden. Calm and considered, it offers a quiet retreat within the home.

The Pink Flamingo

A double bedroom positioned on the north side of the home with views across the back garden towards Mount Riddle. This room shares the Olive Bathroom.

The Olive Bathroom includes a double basin vanity and a spacious double head shower, designed for both practicality and indulgence.

The Pina Colada Studio

Separate from the main house with its own private entrance, the studio is an open plan self contained space complete with kitchenette, lounge area, bathroom and 65 inch Smart TV.

Sleeping configuration includes:

One queen bed

Single bunk beds suitable for children

One additional single bed

The studio is ideal for a family with children or for guests seeking additional privacy while remaining connected to the main house.

Laundry

The fully equipped laundry includes a Miele washing machine, trough, ironing facilities, clothes rack and additional linen and towels for longer stays.

Outdoor Setting

The property sits on two acres of landscaped grounds with expansive valley views towards Mount Riddle. Open lawns, mature plantings and the sculptural cactus gardens create a distinctly Australian setting that feels both private and expansive.
