A lovely stay

We came for a wedding in the area and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Healesville. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We didn't realise there was a separate bedroom until we were leaving but it didn't matter. There was plenty of room and it was was a great getaway.

Excellent-Penelope and Gary are great host. Very homely and warm with all amenities being available.

Excellent grounds. Large areas and well maintained. This property will suit any family or friends that are wanting to get away and have a relaxing time. Township is very close with surrounding wineries that is also within close proximity. Will highly recommend.

Homely Healesville Retreat

The house was so comfortable and elegantly styled. It comfortably fitted 12 of us, we loved that there was several different spaces for us to retreat to. The outdoor entertaining area was perfect for the kids to run around and was the perfect area for us all all to have a bbq and enjoy the Yarra Valley views. Highly recommend.

Perfect for Family Get Together

We had a family catch up over a 4 day weekend. The house was well set up that you didn't have to leave for anything if you didn't t want to. Kitchen was really well equipped. House was warm. Prefect location to wineries, distillery and shops.

The house was wonderful and we loved everything about it. It was perfect for our family getaway across multiple ages. We loved the flexibility of the spaces within the large house. The short 10 minute walk into town was very convenient - the walk back to the house took a little longer as it was uphill, but no less enjoyable! The check in process was very easy. The house was clean and well presented, and it had all of the comforts of home. Communication with Gary and Penelope was very easy and they made our 4 night stay very comfortable and relaxing. Thanks for a great Healesville getaway experience!

Great location and great house

The house was beautifully presented , newly renovated with lots of entertaining areas. It was very clean , we watched Netflix too. Beds were amazing to sleep in, lots of bathrooms and showers were great. Great communication between us and the owner. Great location just a 3 minute drive and you are in town. Quiet neighbourhood. We will be returning to this property when we revisit this area .

Perfect Winter Getaway

Group of 11 stayed last weekend & we certainly weren't disappointed. Early check in was not a problem & from there it just got better. House was so warm and cosy, plenty of firewood supplied for wood heater but ducted heating also worked a treat if you didn't want to bother with fire. House is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need & beds were like sleeping on a cloud. Property would also be ideal in the warmer months with several lovely outdoor areas. Our group have been doing little getaways for about 30 years staying at many different venues. This one was right up there & we will definitely be back.

Little piece of Paradise

Fabulous home for extended family or for groups of friends. Great amenities, fabulous property with super outdoor areas and indoors had lots of relaxed areas for all to enjoy. Gary was always helpful (even to the extent of posting left behind clothing) so nothing was too much trouble. Healesville has so much to offer and such a beautiful part of the world! Could not recommend this divine property more highly. Don’t miss out on a great experience!
