Enjoy an unforgettable stay in this glamping-style screenhouse nestled into our 100+ acre farm, a homestead farm focused on natural practices just a quarter mile from Kerr Lake.

Designed with a clear roof looking up to the trees, and screened “walls” to let in the breeze (& keep out the bugs), this handcrafted tiny home invites you to pause and reconnect.

You've never camped like this before! This cozy screenhouse has everything you need, and nothing you don't. The clear roof provides lots of natural light and immerses you in nature. Relax on the covered porch with a cup of coffee, a good book, or a glass of wine.

• Cell service is carrier dependent (Verizon and AT&T both work great for us)

• Clean, easy-to-use bathhouse

• Plenty of parking space — bring your boat!

Note: This a mostly off-grid camp-like experience with limited electricity via large battery packs (provided) and no heat or AC (if you want all these comforts in the same rustic setting then book our loft "Serenity Loft"). A misting fan is provided, and ice water can be filled in the base to provide a cool-air experience.

The area is beautiful and a working landscape, which means you may see or hear activities related to agriculture, forestry, and rural life.

Leave your tent and camping gear at home. Simply pack and dress for the weather, bring a sense of adventure, and spend your time dreaming and doing (not packing & setting up gear).

• Sleeps 2 with the provided queen bed; children are welcome, just bring your own sleeping bags to stay in the cabin with you, or bring your own tent to setup right outside.

• Plenty of space for multiple vehicles and boats on the spacious property

• Play pickleball or basketball on the private Sport Court located at Holly Forest

• Wood/charcoal grill with grill grate provided; wood and charcoal available for purchase on site

Guest Access:
Holly Forest is tucked into a corner of Heritage Farm. Water and electricity, The Bathhouse with showers and restrooms, and parking are located in the common areas. Battery boxes are provided each day for running a fan or charging small electronics as needed.

Our farm is dedicated to natural practices, and learning experiences for all. Depending on the time of your visit, you may find our farm humming with activity during flower season as we tend to our crop (Cultivate Flower Co.) or care for our livestock and create our products (Kinda Crunchy Goat Milk Soap). You'll also see us tending to our animals year-round.

Holly Forest is our agrotourism venture, with the Holly House (full home also available on VRBO) with proximity to the Lake and magnificent views onto the farm. Other operations on the farm include:
