This vacation home, built in 1876 and measuring approximately 105 square meters, is a special example of old tradition and home decor from coastal East Frisia. In the front section, the rooms remain just as they were in the past, with exposed old beams, crooked old door frames, a wood-burning stove, and some old tiles—all of which contribute to the interior’s unique charm.
The entire living area is located on the first floor. In the front section, you’ll find two bedrooms, each equipped with double beds or single beds. This means there’s room for up to 4 adults or children.
The kitchen is an open-concept kitchen and is modern and newly furnished. Here you’ll find a dishwasher, an oven, a ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator, and kitchen appliances. Both bathrooms have been modernized and newly tiled. There is also a guest restroom. A washing machine is available in the country house.
Next to the kitchen, above the “Upkammer” (a small cellar from days gone by), there is a cozy nook furnished with an East Frisian sofa. From here, you can look out onto the nearby Harle River and enjoy a cup of tea or simply take in the tranquility.
On the way to the rear of the house, toward the former small barn that has been converted into a living and dining area, you’ll find the sauna. It’s located right next to one of the two bathrooms.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Two parking spaces for cars are available on the property. This area of the property is bisected by a bike and pedestrian path.
The garden is quite spacious, offering plenty of room across approximately 1,200 square meters. A garden shed provides space for your bikes or simply a spot to sit sheltered from the wind. Right next to it is a stone garden grill. Of course, garden furniture and a beach chair are provided.
A wallbox for charging electric cars is available at the parking lot and can be used for a fee. There is an e-bike charging station in the bike shed.
Dogs are welcome guests here.
Distance to the beach is approx. 6 km and to Carolinensiel 5 km.
