The location of the property is very convenient to the beach, and walking distance to groceries, many restaurants, and shops. Our host responded quickly to questions. I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Amazing getaway!

This a super cute little property on a nice, clean beach. Recommend for couples, space is a bit small for a family but it does sleep 4. Great value for the price!!!

Beautiful condo, clean, great stay!

This was our first time in Hilton Head, and this condo was a great choice. The location is right in the middle of everything but with direct access to a beach that was private enough to easily find our own spot. The condo is small, as pictured, but really efficient and clean. The owner, Jim, is very responsive. This is a winner, and we had a great stay! Thank you!

Home away from home 


Cozy, clean and tasteful! Light and airy, easy to settle into. We had 2 days of rain so this was key to just relaxing in the apartment and watching movies enjoying our time away. We stocked the fridge, cooked and took advantage of the full size TVs. Great water pressure, full size shower and of course the blue tooth bathroom speaker, the best!! Bedroom was clean and comfortable. The unit is located ocean side and is literally steps away from the heart of everything. Get the bike and go!!

Great location and beach access

Unit is small and could use a few helpful additions. Better beach amenities. There was a single beach chair in poor condition, an old umbrella and a wagon.. no beach towels in unit. A blow dryer Ice trays..the refrigerator is small and has no icemaker. Without ice trays we had no ice for beverages. Over all location and beach access over rule the suggested additions

Nice property, great location

Beautiful first-floor property. Entry-door overlooks pool, balcony is over parking lot with a view of the ocean to the left. Did not eat there, so can't speak to how well equipped the kitchen is. Primary bed was actually comfortable! There is a pull-out sofa for kids, but my teenage son wanted to bring a blow-up mattress, because that is just how he is. Of note, the bathroom is small, but the shower is a nice size. There is no bathtub if that is something you are looking for. Easy walk to the beach for families with young kids, and groceries, shopping, restaurants very close by. Location on the beach is close to public access (Coligny), but far enough away that you are not in the huge crowd of Coligny. Overall, a nice stay.

Long Weekend Getaway

My husband and I came down from Charlotte for a long weekend getaway. The property was clean and was as described. Love the decor and the location! We’ve stayed at another place with this owner and enjoyed that property as well, so we figured this one would be a hit too. Just a few notes for future visitors, make sure to bring a hair dryer and iron if you think you’ll need one. We didn’t see one in the condo. Also, with parking outside, depending on time of year, you may experience sap and pollen on your vehicle. The visit was amazing and we would definitely come back and we do recommend this place and in particular this property owner. Thanks again for a great place for a getaway!! :)

Why I would never go back.

The filters and fan covers for the AC, hall fan, and bathroom fan were all clogged with lint and had not been cleaned in years. The TV had no live programming available except 24/7 news, hence no live sports available. Kitchen ceiling light has a short somewhere so it periodically flickers on and off. Annoying and unsafe. I could feel the springs in the mattress it was so old. Worst condo I have ever rented.

A little disappointed

The pictures are misleading. It’s not that new and sparkly. Not as spacious as it looks. The beach chairs had a lot to be desired - one was broken. The mattress was too soft and uncomfortable and the bed seemed smaller than a queen. The couch wasn’t that firm. The floors were sticky. The only mirrors were in the bathroom - I wud definitely recommend a full length somewhere. “Ocean view” was an overstatement. On the positive side Jim was very accommodating and we were able to ck in early. He was easy to communicate with. The location is great and shopping and restaurants were convenient to the condo. Unfortunately we would not stay there again.

Property location was perfect. 3 minute walk to the beach. The unit is small. My husband and I were comfortable. The A/C had a difficult time getting the bedroom cool. The bedroom is the first room when you enter. The A/C unit is on the opposite end of the apartment. We used a box fan to help pull cool air into the bedroom. Other than that, its a great location.

Great location with easy beach access

Perfect little vacation condo for a couple. Everything was very clean and operated properly. You can tell it was recently renovated. Just a short walk to the beach with fresh water showers available. Pool is just outside the front door. Short walk to shopping and the Tiki Hut. Loved our stay here.

Cute little condo

Definitely not room for 5, but two couples could stay (one bed, one fold out couch). The AC is in the livingroom; therefore, the bedroom will get quite stuffy if you close the door. Parking can be a bit tricky if you stay on a crowded weekend. We parked in the grass one night after getting in after 9! Other than that, the beds were comfy. Small, efficiency kitchen was enough for breakfast & lunches . Easy access to the beach. We’d stay again.

Review

Property was very nice my only complaint is the property manager new the fridge was broken and never said anything. We bought a bunch of groceries on the way into town and they ended up going bad because we didn't realize the fridge wasn't working till the next morning when all our food was warm.

.nothing worked. Getting into the property was convoluted and really could have been explained better. The cable and Wi-Fi didn’t work but we were gone most of the time. To get into the condo you had to enter the code two times no matter what to get it to work. And though there is a coffee maker, only one coffee mug so we had to share. Overall, it was clean except under the fridge and the fridge was loud. Not really disappointed but for the price it could have been a lot better. Don’t think we will be back.

Disappointing Experience

This was the most disappointing VRBO experience we’ve ever had. What was portrayed online was not at all what we rented. The condo required a good bit of cleaning on our part before we settled in; the the kitchen was dirty, dining table still had crumbs from previous renters, and floors hadn’t been swept or cleaned. The was no mattress on the top bunk and they lacked adequate blankets. We had emailed the owner prior to our arrival inquiring about small details, such as the type of coffee maker. We were told it was a Keurig, bought k cups for our stay, only to learn it was a drip coffee pot. Upon arrival, we emailed the owner to express that the unit was not in move-in ready condition. He did call right away but he was dismissive of our concerns. His resolution was to simply send pictures of the messy areas so he could tell the cleaning company. The building property and amenities were good. Pools and parking lot were clean and well maintained and the walk to the beach was very easy. We were very close to Coligny Beach including all the shops and restaurants. Traffic, both pedestrian and vehicles, is dense so if you want a slower pace and less crowds, this isn’t the right location for you. We would not rent this condo again nor recommend.
