Beautiful huge property tucked away with beautiful scenery. We arrived in the evening and had asked the host to leave the lights left on, which they responded quickly that they would. It was beautifully lit up when we arrived. It’s right off a highway, but felt very private and quiet. The house felt endless with enough room for several families with no way of feeling cramped. The little touches like naming the rooms were so cute and the beds were very comfortable. We had so much fun exploring all the rooms, and amenities it offered, like the exercise room, and completely separate game room with pool table, air hockey, tv’s, couches, ping pong and so much more.The spa was wonderful to come back to after hiking. It was huge and heated with colorful lights, a fountain, and even speakers. The creek was so relaxing and beautiful. I believe the closest stores were in a town about a 20 min drive away. The kitchen had spices and tons of appliances tucked away in the cupboards. We went for a short trip, but would love to go back and soak it all in.

BaseCamp Family Reunion

Great location for a mid-size family reunion! Lots of rooms, bathrooms, and activities for all our kids. Peaceful and secluded but close enough for activities. We would love to come back!

Family Fun

Base Camp is set in an idyllic location. Magnificent trees, close enough to shopping and Portland, as well as access to Mt Hood and outdoor activities. The house was large and comfortable for our large family of nine!

Great Space for large family

Basecamp was just what we were looking for. Large table that accommodated all for diner, great spaces in and out side, and a wonderful game room. We would come again. Beautiful setting and peaceful by the creek.

It's such a fun and quirky home and we loved the character. It isn't too far from town either if you find you forget something. The back deck was great although an owl tried to swoop down and get my small dog so beware if you have small animals with you! Overall really nice stay.

Lots of space for everyone and recreational games like pool, football, ping pong, etc. Beds are very comfortable and the wi-fi is totally sufficient. Quiet, scenic location.

This property isn’t too far up the mountain but it is perfectly secluded yet very convenient to all the mountain has too offer.

Excellent Space

Very spacious and quiet! The deck, hot tub, and activity barn were much appreciated and enjoyed by our family during our stay. The property is tranquil and relaxing - we will be back!

Perfect house for fun

Our group loved spending time in the woods, close walk to Sandy River and other trails, using the amenities and eating together in the gorgeous dining sunroom area. Great experience!

Very clean, lovely setting. If you are looking for a weekend full of fun activities on the mountain, I couldn’t recommend a better spot.

Very good stay

Overall great property, huge outdoor space, plenty of amenities. Only small negative is the floor plan and the location of bedrooms and bathrooms. But overall had a wonderful stay.

Really liked the home. Rooms were great. Well stocked! Enjoyed the eating and outdoor areas. The game room was really fun. Beautiful location in the forest with the creek. Had concerns that were addressed by Kevin of Vacasa.

We enjoyed our time at basecamp. Plenty of room for 8 adults and 6 littles. The bonus game barn was a big hit.

Amazing Retreat Near Mount Hood

We had such a good time at this lovely character-filled cabin. The kitchen is well-appointed with a large table. The patio has another large table, BBQ, and hot tub under a pavilion. The giant separate game room building was cozy and had something for everyone to do. Five stars and we highly recommend a stay!

Great Property plenty of space

This property is very unique but has plenty of space for everyone to spread out and plenty of things to do. I have booked this place twice. My favorite spot on the mountain.
