The Space:

This dreamy ocean view South Beach vacation rental, just south of Newport, is the perfect place to hide from the stresses of everyday life. This cozy coast getaway has room for everyone to relax, as well a large deck and private beach, accessible from either side of the creek.



Heading in the other direction, besides the famous aquarium in Newport, you can spend the day exploring the area around the Yaquina Head lighthouse, run on Agate Beach, or just browse the shops and galleries of Newport's artsy Nye Beach area.



From inside, you'll love the ocean view from this home's wall of windows! Do some storm watching on a chilly winter afternoon while the propane stove keeps it all warm and toasty inside, or view a stunning summer sunset after dinner. There are plenty of comfortable sofas for everyone to sit back on after a day hiking, playing on the beach, or wandering the exhibits at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. And if it's too rainy to enjoy the outdoors, there's cable TV, a DVD player, and WiFi for entertainment at home.



You'll love the convenience of having a full kitchen here! Just stock the refrigerator and cabinets with groceries and vacation meals will be easy to prepare! There's even a small gas grill on the deck if you want to grill outside, surrounded by the large backyard. If you do want to venture out for meals, a short drive north will take you to Fishtails Cafe for breakfast or lunch - and after crossing the historic Yaquina Bay Bridge, you'll have even more dining options on Newport's bustling bayfront.



After dinner, you can explore the beach, play a family board game inside, or just find a quiet spot to curl up with a good book. When it's time to turn in, one bedroom has a queen-size bed, the living space has a single size sleeper, and the other bedroom has one queen making this house perfect for up to five guests.



And if you get dirty while on your coast adventure, there's a washer and dryer back at the house.



Spend your days walking along the shore, pant legs rolled up. You'll have a long, sandy stretch of beach to explore. Nearby attractions include wine tasting at Stone Crest Cellars, hiking at Lost Creek State Park, or wildlife watching along the tide pools at Seal Rock.

Wonderful location and view

My friends and I loved our time at Hanas Place. It was decorated so cute with lots of space and privacy. Loved the view of the ocean and still being in the trees. Also enjoyed opening the windows and listening to the ocean and fog horn. Although, we could hear some 101 traffic it wasnt bothersome. We would definitely stay again.

Gem in South Beach

This is the second time we have stayed at Hana's Place. Owners continue to upgrade and this is a VERY well stocked home. The view is AMAZING. Very comfortable and welcoming, with easy access to a quiet beach. We saw 3 bald eagles and a heron on the beach.

The house was very nice. Awesome views. Clean rooms but the foam mattress pads on the beds were weird. And funky. The front door entry code stopped working after the first day. But that was ok because the sliding door in the far bedroom didn’t lock so we got in that way. Nice kitchen and classy refrigerator.

outside house has a old look and feel. as a worker i can see dryrot in the eaves of the house. but in side was wonderful, and the view ... that view was worth it all. the price was ok , house was clean, and beds ok for not having memory foam. one of the baths have a feeling of not being private with the window being big and in the shower but its frosted and private. my wife and i loved it and everyone pretended they have a perfect view.

Beautiful beach view and cute home

We loved our stay at this lovely beachy themed home. The view from the home and deck are outstanding! This home was built to take advantage of the fantastic view! Notes: Primary bedroom does not have a door. So romantic time or even sleeping could be difficult as sound and light drift in and out of bedroom. If you were traveling with 2 couples it might be ok as the bedrooms don't share a wall but it would have been so much better with a door of any sort! The BBQ does not work! Don't plan on it. Also, getting in touch with local management did not work as the posted phone number was no longer good. Boo on management but beautiful home-so yes, we would stay again!

Perfect Spot

The beach home was perfect for our Oregon Coast road trip. We loved the beautiful ocean views and the long walking beach. The home was very clean, comfortable, well equipped, and tastefully decorated. We would definitely come back for another stay!

Amazing Place to Stay!!

The views are amazing at this house. We watched whales while eating at the breakfast table and the deck with the hammock was a fantastic place to relax! The yard was beautiful and everything was so clean. My family enjoyed the ping pong table and all of the extra activities here. Lot’s of towels and the beds were comfortable and everything was well stocked. We would stay here again.

I loved that you can see and hear the ocean from almost every view in the home including while laying in bed. You can walk right on a private beach and the home has a private gate which feels like even more privacy. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing view in a quiet neighborhood

South Beach was quaint, comfortable quiet location set up on a hill at the end of the road facing an ocean view! The house had been updated to make it comfortable. Plenty of room for 6-7 adults. Needed a little extra thorough cleaning, otherwise beautiful choice! Communication was excellent! Stay here! Cool retro style home!
