The Space:

Take in a panoramic view of ocean waves, whale spouts on the horizon, and gorgeous nightly sunsets from this light-filled home just up from the beach in Waldport. Walk a few minutes to spend your days beachcombing and boogie boarding, and enjoy a large, ocean-facing deck waiting to welcome you back.



This two-story home is located in Wakonda Beach, a small oceanfront community that sits three miles south of downtown Waldport. To reach the beach, you need only cross the Oregon Coast Highway. This is a wonderful location for exploring the greater Central Oregon Coast, with Yachats, Cape Perpetua, and Thor's Well less than eight miles away. Drive just a bit further to visit the renowned Oregon Coast Aquarium (17 miles), Newport (19 miles), the Heceta Head Lighthouse (19 miles), and the Sea Lion Caves (20 miles).



This home was built to showcase its magnificent setting, with the ocean on display both upstairs and down. The open living space on the main floor is lined with windows, so you won't lose sight of the view as you watch movies on cable and streaming, play board games at the dining room table, and prepare homemade meals using stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.



Catch the sunset on the deck each evening and head upstairs for movie nights in the den. Of the bedrooms, one is a primary suite on the main floor and two are upstairs - including one with incredible ocean views. Additional features of the house include central air, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi.

Lovely place to spend a couple nights (or longer) at the coast. Well appointed kitchen. Lovely views. Very clean. Queen beds were comfortable. Great location to go to our favorite places in both Waldport and Yachats. Beach access was very close. Exceptionally well cared for property.

The house is beautiful, spacious, kitchen is well appointed, comfortable furniture from beds to sofas and the ocean views are spectacular. We especially liked the floor plan, making it very comfortable and conducive for 6 people. Many great amenities!

There are so many great things about the beach house. It is a gorgeous location and a wonderful home with everything you need. We had such fun playing games and relaxing as a family. Waldport also has so much to offer with playgrounds, library, and a beach you can walk on all the way to town.

Great view Comfortable home

Love the view and location. This was the second stay at this property in two months. Great for two couples with nice privacy for both couples and plan y of room to spread out. Nice view of ocean and proximity to Newport, Waldport and Yachats was exactly what we look for. The newness of the property is a bonus.

This home was clean and well kept. Clearly a newer home with great light and space. Separate spaces for two couples with rooms upstairs and down. Privacy when you want it and communal living space for gathering. Of course the view was great!

We had a great stay! Super clean and awesome location to walk to the beach. Luckily, the weather was nice and we really didn’t need the AC much but when we did use it, it didn’t really seem to cool the upstairs rooms so a fan would have been nice to have. My son loved exploring the games and our family really enjoyed the view and porch. It was pretty convenient to go to Waldport or Yachats. Thanks so much!
