Overall we had a very nice stay at this property. Pros - location is amazing, the house has plenty of space, and our kids loved the bunk beds.Con’s - The house wasn’t as clean upon arrival as we would have hoped (full trash still under the sink, towels in the laundry…), also check-in process was pretty unclear and took longer then expected. Clearly communication around ‘go to the Welcome center to start’ would have been simple and easy.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home on black butte ranch. It was clean and quiet. The trails, horses & wildlife was fun to see. We definitely recommend checking it out.

Great stay in a nice location on the property—close to Big Meadow golf & pool. Overall experience was nice. Only suggestion would be to stock the kitchen with more basics (salt/pepper/olive oil/balsamic/basic spices…..Otherwise it was an easy stay. Thank you!

Overall, the home is clean & very nice in a quiet lovely wooded location. The layout worked very well for our family. The spa, pools, golf & activities are in the different community areas which are really nice. All rooms have individual air-condition/heat splits which was great. The back bedroom needs a new blind as one is broken. There is a lovely deck with a BBQ but the propane was empty. The communication was always quick by the Atari Management However they have a strict ID process just to rent which required sending ID and a Selfie which my phone wouldn't do so luckily I was able to get another guest to accomplish. The worst part was the directions & check-in. The website & all their directions do not tell you to go to the Welcome Center unless you enter after 9:30pm. We spent an hour at the gate with a code that doesn't work & 30 minutes on phone with someone very apologetic from Atari who couldn't give us answers. Finally I remembered a previous review mentioning not being told about the Welcome Center first so we went. We were told every car license and driver needs to be ID'd there before getting a card to the gate. It is Mandatory and should be on this website. Another glitch is the Street Address Atari sends you isn't on MapQuest so we used the name Black Butte Ranch. We could only find the street address by a internal map given out at the Welcome Center. They also gave us an updated code for house lockbox. After all that we had an enjoyable stay.

Great house, clean and comfortable.

We had a very pleasant 2 night stay. The house was sparkling clean, beds were comfortable. There was a very nice outdoor space, we had coffee and ate outside a lot. There was a deer hanging in our backyard. The house is very secluded in a quiet area. There was barely any people at the resort mid September. All the outdoor pools were still open to use. The resort itself is beautiful with wonderful newer facilities, pools, spas,saunas , fitness centers and they even offer fitness and art classes. Lake side pool is an area worth visiting. We observed the most beautiful sunsets there. The view is incredible and you can even fish at the little lake that’s in front of the pool with mountains in the background. Breakfast at lake side restaurant was amazing! They make good coffee there. Lunch and dinner was very mediocre. Cons: -no coffee/ tea provided, bring your own -washing machine malfunctioned, no service provided -10am check out:( Overall we had a very good time and will definitely return.

Vacasa Needs Help

We arrived to the house at our scheduled check-in time and the water was shut off to the whole house. We spent roughly four hours going back and forth with Vacasa and maintenance people in order to get the water turned back on. The maintenance guy told us that he left to go get a part that he needed and was caught off-guard by us being there because he had no idea that there was anyone scheduled to be staying there. Vacasa didn’t communicate with us what the plan was so we ended up spending the night away from the house. No water means no toilets. With a family of five, that’s not great. I was expecting some sort of credit for the inconvenience of that first night but no one seemed to be that concerned when I expressed my initial frustration. Other than that, the house was clean and fine. Good location and good separation of space.
