The Space:

Find all the recreation and relaxation you could hope for at this perfectly located Sunriver home, a dog-friendly cabin tucked into the trees with a private hot tub and deck, passes to SHARC, and incredible resort amenities that include two golf courses, tennis courts, and 33 miles of mixed-use trails! This home has also been recently and thoughtfully updated to include a fully renovated kitchen with new appliances, all new living room and dining room furniture, new decks, new flooring, and new paint both inside and outside.



What's nearby:

This two-level home sits one mile north of the Village at Sunriver, nestled among the evergreens and adjacent to the resort's bike path (two adult-size cruisers are even provided). You'll find indoor/outdoor pools and a tubing hill at SHARC half a mile south. The tennis courts at Fort Rock Park are half a mile northwest, the slopes of Mt. Bachelor await 22 miles northwest, and you'll have your pick of the Woodlands and Meadows Golf Courses two miles north and south, respectively.

We love visiting SunRiver, but this was not one of our favorite rentals. We were disappointed with the lack of things and quality of items in the kitchen. There wasn't a baking/cookie sheet, very little knifes (only 1 in the knife block), there was a dirty serving bowl in the cabinet. We also found that there were 2 garbage cans outside and 1 of them was completely full from prior guest. The Kitchen only had 1 breakfast bar stool and the table and bench/chairs were too large for the space for people to sit at and have others be able to walk around.

We booked this house last minute and did not have high expectations. It was fine for our family of 4 for 5 nights. It could definitely use a deep cleaning (lots of dust and the wood floors could use a major scrub) but we booked it knowing we’d be outside during the majority of our time in Sunriver and so we just needed a home base. The floors creak majorly all over the house, the train track is located very close to the backyard and we heard a train go past at least once/night waking us. We weren’t really sure what the listing meant by “updated home” as everything appeared dated. The hot tub was clean and worked well! The dishwasher is not secure to the wall and the door falls open, which is a bit of a safety hazard. The ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom is not secure on the ceiling and so we opted to not use it in fear it would fall on the bed in the middle of the night. No AC and so it was unfortunate we couldn’t use the ceiling fan as it got very hot upstairs. It was nice to have the box fans provided by Vacasa, however it would be great if those could be cleaned as well as they were covered in dust. Overall, I don’t think we’d stay in this particular house again but like I said, for the lower price point and last-minute availability, it met our needs. The location was great, super close to the Village and the SHARC! The SHARC passes were a huge plus!
